Seems like a similar deal to SFV, Kojima might have wanted to release the game on PC or maybe Sony is partially funding this. Interested to hear more details. Sony jumped on the occasion though, that was done in a day lol.

!This is great news that Sony stated this the moment they could; shows hope that his next project ends up being a great success and I can't wait to see its announcement.
Could see an update on this news with a teaser at E3 2016 and TGS 2016 being where he officially announces the project or something.

excellent news. exclusive whatever, I'm happy that he's making a new game. whatever criticisms leveled at his output (bad writing, imbalance of story:gameplay), his stuff always manages to keep me thoroughly entertained. what an ugly past few months regarding all this konami nonsense.

I really hope it won't be some Metal Gear-like game.
On the other hand I don't hope it'll be a military third or first person shooter either.
