PC gaming setup for right now; just built a new rig:

Nice and clean. I really like it.

I'm not usually a fan of gaming 'designs' on products but yours work, clean setup.

Nice and clean. I really like it.

Thanks guys, I was going for clean and simple. Figured the orange from the RVZ02 would match the orange stand for the XB271HU and would keep it subtle.

I like. Keep it simple.

Ditch the Klipsch for 2 white Rokit 5's or a headphone stack tho.

Either way it's crispy.

Funny you should mention that, I considered that exact setup, and then Yamaha HS5s. For now, I decided to go with the ProMedias because of what I mostly do on the PC (game, not much music listening), but I will be revisiting the idea of studio monitors with an interface in the future.

You are doing something right seeing as you got quoted like 6 times in a row. Those yamahas would be really awesome too.

Post more pics.

I can't *believe* these lazy developers keep making file sizes so damn large. Btw, how does technology work?
Finally starting to get everything the way I want it. New office - so new desk, new entertainment cabinet, new shelving, new TV, new chair. Still need to hang some artwork, the closet is a mess, and I'm still debating on speakers.

Waiting on some wedding money before I upgrade the terrible desk chair ;p

All of our wedding money went into the bank, haha.

But, she did let me use a Target gift card for a new TV stand :)

Love the build and small form factor case. Sweet setup!

Looking good.

I love how classy it all looks. Gaming schwag tends to be an eyesore, but looks very nice the way you've organized it all.

I love those Tetris style shelves. Where did you them?

I apologise for the horrible quality of the pictures. This phone is so bad.

This has been my setup for a few years now. Everything is connected ready to go, even my PC that I forgot to take a picture. I usually have friends over the weekend and play all the 4 players splitscreen games we can handle.

Cable management is terrible. I need to buy some velcro asap.

Finally got it put together after the move late last year. Pretty pleased with it, especially with the Skylake build.

Here's a few shots from just before Christmas before my account was activated. It was actually looking for redecorating ideas that led me to Neogaf and the 2015 version of this thread.

I'm in a pretty small place and your typical bog standard, rectangular, low-ceilinged, zero natural light British place so it's designed around making the best use of the space without feeling claustrophobic.

I've effectively divided the room into two - the entertainment area with the TV & sofa and the office area with the Mac and all my books. This works surprisingly well.

One thing I really do love is my lighting. I've set up Philips Hue lights throughout the place and I can control everything through my smartphone or a Logitech Harmony remote. I can make the entire place feel different at the push of a button and I have different settings for games, movies, computer usage, reading etc.

The lighting was expensive to set-up but completely worth it.

TV, with Sony AV Amp, Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U set up. The 360 hasn't really seen any use for a while now. The wiring has been tidied now. I was testing out Ethernet over Powerlines as I found I had a wi-fi dead spot in the corner at the time. I'm running 5.1 sound and as I'm a movie nut this has been set-up for my seating position.

My system is a Mac Pro with 3.33 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon and a GTX680. I spent most of my time in OSX but I do Bootcamp into Windows for PC Games. But to be honest I prefer the consoles and most of the PC games I play are through OSX anyway.

Due to space issues I couldn't keep all my cases. Just far too much room taken up by them. All my disks are kept in sleeves in a set of drawers. Around 1,200 in total and that was after I ripped and disposed of the 'Special Feature' bonus discs.

Holy hell. I love it. What an interesting blend of colors and accents. Generally I prefer the all white look but this is nice. I think it sets you apart from everyone else.

Also, I have that exact deer head but never got around to hanging it up. I was going to put it above my TV but I like where you have yours. And thank you having enough common sense to not mount your TV above your fireplace!

Looking for some advice on upgrading my audio setup. I've narrowed it down to three options: Audioengine A2+, Audioengine A5+, or the Yahama HS5. I really like the look of the Yahamas but I'm not sure whether I could use them with my Vizio M series. What I like about the A2's is that I could use them with my computer or my TV. I think the A5's and the HS5's are too big for my desk. Then again since I'm in a 700 sq ft studio apartment (with no neighbors) I'm thinking the larger models are probably more appropriate. Any insight is appreciated.

I like the A5+, but I would also check out the Bower & Wilkins MM1s. Thats probably what I'm going to pickup once I get my 27" 5K iMac.

I'd love it people would say roughly where they lived when posting their setups.

Not for burglary purposes, you understand. Just for context.

Nice. I saw this on reddit the other day and was going ask how you like the monitor.... so how do you like it?

I love it man. I always thought that one thread where someone claimed G-Sync was a "god-tier" gaming upgrade was exaggeration, but no, it really changes everything. It makes it so that there is absolutely no tearing or frame timing issues, so even at lower/variable FPS, gameplay feels smooth without any of the input-lag creating post-processing on TVs. I'm also quite fond of the colors after a few adjustments, and the panel quality, to my eyes, is top-notch. I'd recommend it if you're in the market for a 165hz/1440p/IPS/G-Sync monitor.

Can I ask, what wallpaper is that?

Really nice. Wallpaper?

Whats your background?

Sure thing, here's a link to the wallpaper, and also a gallery of over 100 UHD wallpapers (NSFW towards the beginning).

Two questions:

1) Where did you get that Arnold poster/painting?

2) Did you install those hardwood floors, or were they already there? We are getting ready to remodel a house and those are almost exactly what we had in mind.

1. My wife found it on Reddit, and she printed it off at her job.

2. They came pre-installed in the house when we purchased them. They are nice, but I would have much rather had real hard wood and not laminet. Lowe's sells them Item #528976

Is it the Rasterize thing? I saw a thread about that when I was looking myself, but I couldn't tell if that's what it was or not. Interesting, I may have to check into that.

And yeah, we are going for real hard wood at our next place. I'd still like to get something around that color and style though.
