IF we're gettin remakes or ports I'm sure they'll leave the MP bits out as they want people to play the latest version instead.

7 minutes ago. Could be absolutely nothing.
Boy dont play with me

COD4 for the best COD, MW2 so we can all take shots as we watch the series jump the shark.

MW3 so we can laugh at it a few inches before rock bottom.

I say Ghosts should be thrown in as a bonus so we can see Rock Bottom itself.

Activision Classics is not an official Activision account, this is a 3rd party seller that created their own listing. Totally fake.

Really curious if all three games would be under the same multiplayer playlist umbrella, or if each would be kept separate.

If each games' multiplayer mode was kept separate from the others - would that divide up too much of the CoD userbase?
If what we'd be getting is one 'multiplayer' mode - with over 60 maps - how would Loadouts/Perks be handled?

Just be MW2 mp no need for mw3 or mw when the best ones ready to play 👏👏
They can put some MW maps if they like though thats fine.

Hopefully they come with all the DLC. I'm so in if that is the case as MW2 is my favorite COD but finding a game on PC can be dogshit.

I mean it when I say MW2 was the sharkjump. Not in a "I don't like this thing" way, because I liked it, but there's some serious issues.

It marked the downfall of the series on PC with the godawful port it was, for one - And most importantly, the whole reason for Infinity Ward splitting and coming up with Call of Duty in the first place was because Medal of Honor had became an unrealistic GI Joe Superhero AMERICA FUCK YEAH game they were getting tired of making. So their idea of CoD was a realistic game about frontline warfare in WW2 where the player was just one cog in the vast war machine instead of THE LAST HOPE FOR FREEDOM.

Starting with Modern Warfare 2 and every COD game onwards, the series became the EXACT thing it was made to be against.

Oh. This.

I'm only shitting on the campaign, I didn't even play MW3's multi.

I'm that weirdo that plays CoD for the campaign.

Each COD MP has their own nice tweaks that improve things *a little bit* without going all the way and making something truly great, or two steps back are taken with some aspect but MW3 was great in some areas.

For instance MW3's streak system was great. Plain old Assault, a new Support streak system that gave mostly defensive or altruistic rewards like Ballistic Vests for the squad or the Recon Drone to tag enemy players on the radar for your team, or instead the Specialist streak which allowed you to gain more perks until eventually you gained them all. Running around with all perks could make you seriously dangerous, though I think Specialist should have required more effort. By 8 kills (7 if you had Hardline as a starting Perk, potentially even less if you had Hardline Pro and were getting plenty assists) you had all perks, which really was too soon.

Speaking of Perks however, I honestly think MW3 had the best set. They were generally very balanced at cancelling each other out and finally, with Recon, we had something to counter UAV dodgers.

The main problem with MW3 was the maps, easily. Cramped garbage like everyone's somehow-favourite, 'Mission', or just a nightmare of sightlines everywhere. They were a big step back from MW2, which somehow had larger, more expansive open maps with less visibility that encouraged more movement.

I think the ultimate COD would be a mixture of MW2/3s weaponry, MW2's maps, MW3's ability perks and streak system, and BO2's decision to have all gun play altering properties (i.e. former perks for faster aim/reloads, steady hip fire) become attachments rather than perks.

Mw2 without the OP killstreaks and without OP shotguns? Balanced and Remastered with all DLC maps?

LETS GO!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I only care about multiplayer and considering that the map packs are still being sold for full price, I'd doubt they'd even bother including it.

Why would Activision go to the effort of recreating the trilogy? Does anyone actually want a remastered MW3?
i think it's just weird to remaster games that are part of an annualized franchise. like, would anyone want a nba 2K10 remastered instead of a 2K17 at the end of the year?

Sports games are different though, they're mostly a ton of minor tweaks and a roster update.

Call Of Duty 4 and Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 are different games with different stories and a different time zone

Current CoD's play MUCH more differently compared to the Modern Warfare's. It might be annualized, but that doesn't mean the gameplay actually stays the same.
Shocking

Definitely not the same thing at all.

Call of Duty 4 was a huge moment in the first person shooter genre. It changed them forever. A lot of people have very fond memories of that game.

No one remembers NBA 2K10, and I play that series almost every year.

Didn't think much of that photo leak earlier, but now it looks even more likely it's legit. Quite happy about this as I had a lot of fun and spent many hours on MW1 and 2. Looking forward to jumping back in again!
