Mighty No. 9 |OT| The Blue Bomba

FYI, the humble page for my Mighty 9 had been updated and the Ray DLC for Steam has a new code that worked.

edit: It doesn't show up in the DLC list on my library, but it shows up in my licenses, so I guess it worked.

Oh, so check your Steam licenses? Not the humble site?

Edit: Never mind! You need to go to your actual Humble store page for Mighty No 9 to receive the updated Ray DLC for steam.

Wii U version here....I kinda like the game...but it runs at 30 (and I would dare to say that ir runs below that when there is chaos in the screen), is choppy...

I guess I'll play it on pc.

Psn codes worked for me just now (main game and ray dlc, gold backer dlc, and retro hero dlc)

Guess we'll see how mediocre this is later

I dreaded it being 30 when it was announced to be UE3 so I only wanted it on next gen (then) or PC. And it's apparently worse than I feared!

Any recommended first stage to get accustomed to the mechanics? I'm still iffy on dashing through everything, and the fire stage kicked my ass.

Has any one here opened a PS4 signature edition yet? I'm curious about the quality of the Beck figure. Not sure if should just return the thing to Amazon or not.

So far I've only found one unboxing on YouTube and the person didn't take the figure out if the package: https://youtu.be/DutcXdsTsCY

There's this sentiment that we are being entitled if we complain about backers getting codes last. Why?

Holy shit

I wish I could give this game a fair chance but after all this shit, especially the whole Red Ash fiasco I just cannot look at this game without being immensely frustrated and upset. At least I sold off my code to someone who may actually enjoy it, I think that ship has sailed for me already
I'm like you on being upset & frustrated with this game to the point that I do not even want to think about it, but I'm glad I did not sale my code because it did not work. I can't believe how much I dislike this developer & the game & I haven't even played it. I have the worst taste in my mouth from the Mighty No.9 experience.

Like, the game isn't terrible. It's just super bland and boring. And all my fears about the level/game design arent correct at all.

It's so forgettable that it feels like a greenlight release from a mediocre developer. None of the DNA that made MM great is found within, besides some ME TOO copy cat things that just don't gel well.

I think the funniest thing about this whole situation is that people rightfully expected a return to the MM formula, and this is just a subpar sidescroller.

That in and of itself isn't the most damning thing you can be, but it certainly doesn't help when the whole time you wonder what could have been and kinda feel like playing other games.

I'll beat this once and never return to it again. And I love returning to games.

Edit: That's just taking the gameplay into consideration. The graphics, the weird drops, the loading times for Wii U owners, and all the other problems are probably what drag this game down from being an average title to slightly awful.
