That snippet looked good. Still pegging this as 2018 but I'm a little less sure of that date because of how aggressively they're showing it off. We saw more of it than we saw of God of War at this conference, I think.

Fall 2017 at the very earliest, but that's doubtful too.

Yeah, I wonder when it's planned. I agree holiday 2017 seems the earliest and the time of a big superhero game.

I know it was only a few seconds of footage, but this was one of the best parts of the Playstation conference. Their interpretation of New York looks amazing and I love the look of Spidey. Really want to see more genuine gameplay, but I reckon we're looking at 2018 for this one.

Uh, they aren't actually all that above average outside of cutscenes, so I'm not sure why this matters. Unless this is going to end up being yet another "cinematic blockbuster" game where you basically hold forward and hit X to the next explosive cutscene.
In between bits of substandard gunplay of course.

If this is open world it's probably the most impressive city seen in a game to date.

Maybe even if it isn't and just has large areas.

Damn impressive, really looks like New York in almost every respect.
