Last Guardian delayed

What's amazing with this news is that they are honest and admitting there are bugs that needs to be fixed. This is the truths publishers/devs never tell.

I will be patient. If all publications where like this, gaming in general wouldn't so many disappointing launches and half baked products put to shelves barely functional.

If SCEA doesnt care enough about the game to show it at E3 i dont know that they would care enough about it to delay it. They also didnt want to make a physical copy of the remaster.

Yeah, the idea that Sony actually cares about the idea of Gravity Rush enough to move it away from another niche game is... Well...

They're pretty much sending it to die regardless of when it releases. A delay wouldn't fix anything and only inconvenience the people already interested in the game.

As far as I know all titles going forward will be PS4 Pro enabled on day one, so I expect the kinds of benefits I enumerated to be visible the day TLG is available.

It's only existing titles that can stay stuck in base PS4 mode without active developer intervention in the form of a patch.
Music to my ears, thanks for the reply.
Now if only we could convince FROM by some miraculous chance lol.

Reading the previews people like the game the tech issues though were causing problems.

So it little extra to for this game is good.

this game is never coming out, it was not enough that Sony trolled the ps3 fans and now is doing the same with the ps4 fans lol, Soony

Man, if Gravity Rush 2 is delayed to get away from these 2 decade in development ass, highly likely to be mediocre ass, vaporware ass games called The Last Guardian and FFXV, I'ma be pissed.

EA and Sony in a heated battle for cannibalizing their own sales in Q4.

This is shocking. Very surprising. There clearly hasn't been any type of trend with this game that would have implied a delay.

That damned Sony...making me wait another month for this game.

Well at least from this thread we can see they've boosted the public attention of The Last Guardian by giving one final delay for comic effect lol.

Gravity Rush 2 was the sacrifice. To prevent Ueda from joining Matsuno as a recluse. We just have to hope that Toyama doesn't go instead...

It will and you gonna buy one of those vaporware ass games and you gonna like it :p

This will be a great Christmas game
I know with the Christmas tree gonna be cozy times.

Now Gravity Rush isn't safe from getting delayed out of this year. But I don't think they should or will because Q1 is pretty packed as well.

Wished they pushed the delay button sooner, the closer it is to the date the more it hurts. One month! Gah..

umm dude thats kenny rogers

Now that I think about it this thing is now set to come out after the Pro, literally 2 console iterations ahead of it's original announcement.

There should be an online betting market (like the election markets) for when this game will come out, or even one for whether it'll be delayed past the currently planned release date. I firmly believe it's not making it out in 2016.

I don't understand why people keep saying this nonsense. "I'm glad it's delayed cause there's too many games!". It doesn't make any sense!!

If the game is released as scheduled (what probably means everything went as planned) and there are too many games for you to buy, you can buy it later and who knows even get it a bit cheaper.

There's nothing stopping from buying it later.

People are hurt, they are in the bargaining phase.

im glad it got delayed.. i thought they just gonna release it just to die in the wild.. no marketing and new info for it after e3. looks like they care.

I'm still trying to figure out how this new date makes sense. Final Fantasy XV, The Last Guardian and Gravity Rush 2 probably all have significant overlap in terms of the audience that would be interested in these with FFXV getting priority for most. I'm more worried for Gravity Rush 2 than The Last Guardian. Something has to move.

Maybe I shouldn't be comparing them, but this seems a whole lot like the last minute No Mans Sky delay...

This isn't going to be a No Man's Sky situation.

As long as I get a spirited adventure with a weird gryphon the game will have kept it's promise.

Only on GAF are The Last Guardian and Gravity Rush 2 considered heavy hitters.

I bet GR2 slips to early '17. We might even find out in a few hours at the TGS conference.

There's also South Park, Kingdom Hearts 2.8, and Steep, I believe. But yeah, not quite heavy hitters, more like significant retail games.

I'd be okay with GR2 slipping. Get out of that mass of games!

Geeze, that puts it right by FFXV and Gravity Rush 2. I'm going to have a lot of PS4 stuff to play this Winter!

....a 5 week delay has you worried..... After all this time? It's easier to find out which big games HAVENT been delayed this gen. It happens, and you should be happy that they care enough about these games to delay them rather than getting another AC:Unity.

We've been waiting for this game for a decade, whats another month?

I'm worried another month isn't enough. Feels like they're giving it as much time as they can without missing the holiday season. I'm getting some FFXV vibes here.

A game has been in development for almost ten years and only needs a few more weeks to fix a couple technical issues. Sounds about right.
Yeah basically this.

I actually completely forgot both South Park and Steep were releasing in December. Crazy.

This is like, the biggest December for video games at retail...ever.
