Just finished the demo and did some online races. Its way better than FH2. The driving feels different but better, like the cars are more heavier or something.

And I just keep crashing because the normal car keep driving in the wrong way.

LOL such pre-order bait. I bet they expect bad performance

I doubt it. F6:Apex runs insanely well. The game has been shown off on PC for a while now, and I haven't heard any complaints about it. I believe this game has had the necessary tender love and care put into it that the games deserve for the PC.

I think it has mostly to do with giving Xbox One owners a little something (they are LIVE paying members after all) and just working to make sure the PC version is as best as it can be for release.

The demo coming after will at least give people the chance to test the game before they buy it, and shows to me that they are pretty confident in their game on both platforms.

Didn't have time to fully complete the demo tonight, but it was enough to sell me on it. As usual, going for a standard edition... but if they come up with an expansion as good as FH2's Storm Island was, further down the road, I'd consider parting with some extra bux for that.

By the way, I don't know if the rain is generally random in FH3 or not, but wow! What a difference to the traction it made, when it started raining mid-way through that one demo race. Was sliding all over the place! :D

Lots of people have stuttering issues with Apex. There's been lots of complaints about that.

So pissed the demo didn't start downloading while I was at work. Now I have to wait and play Recore until this slow downloading 18 gigs is done.

Do we know yet if we get some mountains to drive on this time? Seeing those epic mountains in the background has me salivating for some mountain roads, hopefully it's not a major tease like in FH2.

I've seen a few nitpicks about the visuals, but by heck if it isn't the most realistic looking racer, at least in terms of sky and contrast, available, the IQ is something else.

That said, I wish we had some wipers on the other views, that rain effect is a bit much!.

Holy shit, them screens. This could possibly be one of the best looking games I've ever seen. Gonna have to download the demo and see for myself.

How are the engine sounds w/ music off? Are they on par w/ Dirt Rally or still just Forza tier? Not that Forza tier is bad...

Really weak and not visceral at all, is the only complaint I have with the game. It surely doesn't have anything to do with the Dirt series.

This game is so good.

Can't wait to see how this runs/looks on my PC at 21:9.

Hopefully the cinematic doesn't black bar. That would be really annoying.

My only gripe is all the non-interior views look terrible when it's raining because you can't see shit. I didn't check out the HUD options but hopefully you can turn that off. It's cool for puddles but the rain is too much. I had to switch to interior view so I could have wipers.

DriveClub had the exact same issue.

I regret anything I ever said about this game. It's fucking drop dead gorgeous.

Doesn't QUIIIIIIIIITE pip Need for Speed for best looking racer but it gets a damn close second.

Does anyone else feel that the handling is.. "off"? Compared to FH2, it feels more like an arcade game than FH2 did. It feels less precise, and leaning more toward the later NFS games than before. FH2 may not have been exactly like FM5/6, but it wasn't as far off as this is.

Anyone agree or disagree?

Not really, although the steering does feel a little more damped and less direct, I wouldn't say it feels any more arcade than FH2 does/did.

It feels perhaps slightly more weighty than FH2, definitely wouldn't call it 'off' IMO. Feels great to drive.

Only thing i am missing is some sort of line above to show the route like The Crew.
I dont want to use the on road line wich i think is to easy and the mini map guide isnt really good atm.

I agree and I don't like it.
