You can now play more than 250 Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One

Nice number, and it will keep growing.
I remember people were skeptical that this was going to be just like OG Xbox where Microsoft pushed a few titles then dropped it.

I'm loving BC on XB1 just like PS2 classics on PS4, I can't wait for more games to come. Does anyone know why we haven't received Xbox original classics yet, I know it has some to do with Nvidia?

Kind of telling when the biggest news for the XB1 is that you can play 250 X360 games on it. BC is nice to have but I'd rather have a large library of XB1 exclusives to play.

Lol, at least you tried.

How many of you have bought 360 games digitally because of BC? I think I've bought 5 different XBLA title since they started the BC process

I think I've bought about ten, both titles I've never played before and some because I like having them easily available digitally.

If there's a game I want to play I don't care too much what generation it's tied to, but sure you oftentimes buy new hardware for new games. Doesn't mean that BC can't be considered a nice feature still. I wish the PS4 had BC.

All I wanted out of BC was Fable Anniversary, Halo Reach and Hydro Thunder.

FA is still MIA, certain parts of Reach are basically unplayable but hey, I got Hydro Thunder!

Poor Reach. Shouldnt even be on the BC list in that state. Doesnt seem like they give much of a shit, either.

Sure that's the reason 😉

Crackdown where for art thee
I'm guessing whenever crackdown 3 launches. Same with mass effect. I expect 2&3( if EA allows them that is) to become BC around the time when Andromeda releases or maybe sooner since they are longer games( like a month before) etc

I would've said pre-order bonus but since Sony may have ME marketing idk if MS can do that

Still hoping for Oblivion, Black Ops 2, Burnout Paradise, Pure, and a couple others.

I will jump up and down if they announce Oblivion since there is no controller support on PC.

As someone who only games on PS4, this is the XB1 feature that has me the most jelly.

Pretty awesome that so many games are available, without additional purchase.

I feeel like not enough people are aware of this, but as of yesterday, you can also play any NES/SNES/Genesis and Gameboy game on it through NESBOX (emulator that works on the Edge browser). A few tweaks coming in the next week or so include button mapping, multiplayer and saving, but even as is, it's pretty surreal to boot up Super Mario Kart on the X1.

Lol at still no crackdown 1 and 2 and the fact they are holding them hostage so youll preorder 3 is ridiculous and my main grip about bc

Yeah, we'll just ignore 2 console exclusives coming out this month.

Let's just ignore possibly the best racing game to date hitting in a couple weeks. Nothingtoseehere.gif

Ok but 1 of those exclusives is an already established 1st-party franchise. Xbox One needs 3RD-PARTY exclusives badly. Action/adventure games/RPGs to be more specific.

I've got a pretty sizeable list but any additions they make are always welcome. I'd like to see
Dragon's Dogma
Lost Odyssey
Blue Dragon
Mass Effect 2 & 3
Tales of Vesperia
Asura's Wrath
DMC Collection
Metal Gear Rising
Sonic Generations
Oblivion
Orange Box

I'm sure I'm missing a few but either way the effort they put in is appreciated and impressive when you consider that the Xbox One was never intended to have b/c to my understanding

I recently bought my Xbox One and went straight to fill up the HDD with 360 games.

Feels great, Dead Space works okay and looks good so far.

I wasn't aware of this before but I'll be giving it a go tobight. Would love some Chrono Trigger on my Xbox!
