I guess it's hard to overlook your own flaws, but maybe it'd help to tell her that it's a problem most (if not all) people deal with. She knows herself better than she could know anyone else, and that includes the opportunity to critique herself every day. Naturally she'll see flaws others don't perceive.

Even people she'd consider better looking that herself can struggle with this. I'm sure she'll realize that her self-criticisms are unjustified eventually.
