I think it'll be better in the long term if he stays. Trump is finished no matter what, so the fewer people like Pence who have a shot at 2020, the better.

One of the biggest got himself banned yesterday.
The brand is absolutely tarnished, there will likely be ways to salvage it but I think they're going to have to rebrand as something other than Trump.

I don't think they realize this is the last train out of Crazytown. This is the "out" if you've been waiting for one--which obviously a ton of Republicans have-- the chance to drop support with at least a tiny shred of dignity remaining and try to spin it that you didn't really support Trump later down the line.
That ticket's straight social cyanide by the end of this weekend. You back down now, maybe you still walk out of this getting dirty looks from friends and family, but at least you won't be a pariah.

I'm not 100% a fan of this kind of reasoning. The Republican base isn't cattle that can be led about by elites. They're not just at the whims of whatever they read, or whatever their leaders tell them. The Republican base can take its own responsibility for being racist assholes, and the party leaders have basically just been following their lead.

His hotel business is done. As Mark Cuban said, he will be facing a talent exodus left and right. No one will want to have the shit-stain of Trump's name on his or her resume and the sooner you leave, the better.
Client-wise, would you stay at a trump hotel instead of I don't know a Hilton Hotel? Given the choice most people would just not want to deal with Trump.
Litigation-wise, expect many disgruntled employees and even executives to sue for different allegations of mistreat, misconduct, harassment and/or condonation of all of these things by Trump.
Trump was never a good business person, but he had a great brand the he used to license. He has nothing now, that brand is gone
