Ken Bone did an AMA on Reddit yesterday, and of course he used his Reddit handle StanGibson18

Ken Bone's charm may now be a thing of the past.

A look at the viral sensation's Reddit history reveals a different side of the wholesome man America thought they'd earned. The discovery comes just a few days after Bone, clad in a red sweater, was sprung into the spotlight during Sunday's presidential debate.

Bone's questionable Reddit posts include a number of comments about the bodies of women in NSFW photos, as well as a confession that he once committed felony insurance fraud, forging documents to make it appear that he had car insurance for his pizza delivery gig.

From what I read about the case, the shooting of Trayvon Martin was justified, but from what I've learned of Zimmerman through statements, interview, and behavior he is a big ole shit bird. I don't agree with what he says in these posts, but I don't like that a private citizen is having his dirty laundry aired and is about to face a bunch of inevitable harassment because a bunch of people liked the sweater he wore to a presidential debate.

lol it's not hacking. His name is tied to his account and his posts from his AMA. It's public as shit.

And homeboy is a public figure now. He's reaping the rewards of his fame and going on talk shows.

I'm really uncomfortable with this. The dude was catapulted unexpectedly to internet fame and I feel like its gross digging around in his history and spreading it around, no matter how "easy" it was to find. Its not like there's anything even super incriminating in here aside from him being maybe not like a super awesome person? So fucking what

There was no hacking. He just did a Reddit AMA using the same account that he uses to comment on pregnant lady porn, and people were able to see that in his post history.

That's not to say this isn't bad though. This whole thing is a saga of the internet making fun of a man, the man trying to ride out the fame and profit off of it, and then the Internet tearing him down.

Yep. He didn't even ask a good question at the debate; people just like him because he's funny looking.

EDIT: Sorry, yeah. It sucks a random citizen got exposed like this, and he doesn't deserve it in the slightest. The "Ken Bone is the hero we deserve"-style stuff I've been hearing from some people (not on GAF, thankfully) just irks me.

Edit: Read up on the comments and they generally seem okay. Pretty exaggerated reporting.

I don't really get what's so bad with what he said tbh. The Trayvon shootings were legally justified based off of very stupid laws, hence why he got off. Hence why he's saying that.

So what is the endgame here? I mean not in this thread but in looking into this man's past, what do we want? For him to be fired? Not to be employable?

He asked a question at a debate and the only reason he got attention is because "lol fat guy with strange mustache wearing red sweater" I don't get this and people suddenly looking into whatever he said in the past. I mean I am not defending the gross shit he said I just find this all a little strange.
