We are now just about 8 days away from the full Switch reveal. We are supposed to find out the price, launch date and lineup, as well as system features we don't already officially know about.
This thread is for your predictions as to what you think will happen. My only stipulation is that you don't JUST rely on the rumors/leaks we already know about. Go out on a limb and have some fun with it! So, with no further adieu, let's start fortune telling!
The show will last 55 minutes. In that time, they'll show the new Mario, which will be large worlds around a hub world like 64/Sunshine/Galaxy. It will be a launch title. Zelda, Splatoon, Mario RPG x Rabbids are 1st party launch. They show a 3rd party sizzle reel of Skyrim, NBA 2K17, Madden 17, Fifa 17, Bioshock HD Collection, Tekken 7, Return to Arkham, Kingdom Hearts 3, FFXV, Dragon Quest XI. Some are launch, some are not. Skyrim and 2K17 are launch. Indie sizzle reel showings Yooka Laylee, Stardew Valley, Bloodstained, and some lesser known games. They mention app support. 1st party sizzle reel for games "coming yet this year" features Mario Kart 8 Plus, Smash Bros For Switch (has new characters, maybe Snake, definitely Squidlings from Splatoon), New Metroid Game(maybe 2018), New IP from Retro, Xenoblade Chronicles X port, Pikmin 4, Mario Maker. They spend time on VC, announcing GCN support. They only have Nes, Snes, and GCN at launch, with Sunshine, Smash Brawl, and Luigi's Mansion. GCN VC is $15, but there will be an introductory price of $10 for the first week or two. During the VC video, they show off console specific Joy Cons that mirror the original controllers. There will be an upgrade fee for vc games previously purchased, 3ds or wii u. They talk about the screen being touch screen, but spend little time on overall system specs, other than storage amount, micro SD card support, and cartridges. Finally, they say something like, "You'll be able to get this groundbreaking new system on March 19th, for the price of $199-249. However, we know some of you are looking for more out of your experience, and for you, we're offering the Switch Pro. At $249-299, you will get the ultimate Switch experience. Featuring twice as much internal memory and coming preloaded with a digital copy of Splatoon, you'll be ready to paint your way to success right out of the box!" It will then end with a new game reveal. Maybe F-Zero? Probably BG&E2.
