Hi know this seems low on the list but could anyone test some f2p titles like Warframe, Neverwinter, etc those all drop noticeably

I wonder if Rocket League's framerate in the menu is now actually 60fps with boost mode. Also, some of the maps felt like they dropped frames here and there. That was my experience after having played on PC.

Come on man. You're missing out on perhaps the GOTG because of frame pacing? Feel bad for you.

I know :(

People think I'm just being nitpicky or 'elitist', it is nothing like that. I am VERY sensitive to framepacing, for me it makes a game feel constantly stuttery and seem like it is running at half the framerate it actually is. I can actually cope with framerate drops, hell, I even played Goldeneye on the N64 again last year and coped with the FPS drops to the low teens!

Bloodborne and FFXV are games that I've hardly touched because of framepacing and it sucks.

I'm not going to get excited about Just Cause 3 until someone does some tests at the largest island. That's where things got really, really bad, even when just gliding over a base or town.

Yeah, but no. A game with the pro patch is running at full clock speed. This Boost option is just increasing clock speed for unmatched games. So you won't see any difference on a game with the Pro patch no matter how little the patch does.

Again.. how do you know every dev is doing this for each pro patch? There a plenty of "pro" support patches that change just the UI or add AF or something like that.

Yes but if Pro mode is enabled then Boost mode is disabled. Best thing to do is delete the Pro patch/update for the game in question and then compare, but obviously you can't play online then.
