Same query ... anyone ?
In my experience no, the fans run the same as before from the games I've played.

RE-R2's framerate problems on PS4 always baffled me, was it intentionally gimped on PS4 or simply a badly coded PS4 version. The XB1 run this game better than PS4 at the same resolution, that's unheard of, even after they patched it, performance still did not close the XB1 version, even stranger, something is off with this game and it's coding on PS4. No wonder it's crashing..So far from what I've collected from this thread both SOMA and Resident Evil Revelations 2 crash with it turned on.
First time I feel ripped of by Sony
I picked up a ps4 slim in december, just because ps4 pro lacked this mode
This should have been announced on release, really frustrating
You cheaped out over $100. The Pro was a no-brainer even back then if you didn't have a PS4 already.
Well game engines that are written at a very low level would be more susceptible to variations in CPU clockspeed than GPU clock speed in terms of errant behaviour.
Also you said
Which is completely false because you are describing the GPU layout, not the underlying architecture, which is a slight improvement over GCN 1.4 as used in the RX480.
It's like saying that Bonaire and Hawaii have different architectures because Hawaii has more CUs, ROPs, tmus etc.
Not correct, the One S only has a 7% higher clocked GPU. The CPU part remains the same, as does the memory bandwidth.Xbox One S runs games abit faster already then a normal Xbox One because of the slighty better CPU.
Last I heard the Pro was out of stock in Japan (along with psvr).Planning to buy a pro on japan in a few weeks.
Are there any deals there? I also assume I can change the language to english since it's region free?
The Jasons run fasteranyone tell me how heavy rain and beyond two souls run with this?
Now i can buy bloodborne and witcher 3 for my pro. I was a bit reluctant due to performance.

has anyone tried battlefield 4?
The timing of this tells me Sony are more 'concerned' about the impact Switch will have on the sales of the PS4 than the Scorpio.

As a conceptual description I see nothing false about my statement, when that is exactly how Mark Cerny conceptually described it.
Well, as should be pretty evident with a vast majority of what's happened this console generation, Sony is doing just fine not worrying too much about what Microsoft is doing.

Me please!Who am I sending the next PM to?
Same here, no noticeable fan loudness.
Who am I sending the next PM to?
Okay, I get the joke now.
This is one of the reasons why physical is better. You can just play without patches. Its so easy to get excited about games that could benefit from this, only to realise the 'boost' has already gone into resolution/ more demanding effects in an already released pro patch :/
Same query ... anyone ?
Netcode?Zero difference in GTA 5/Online, despite the game now running super smooth at all times.
I wonder if it will do anything for Perosna 5. It has no Pro patch and it's a game that could easily run in 60FPS on the Pro
I looked in my settings menu and don't see this option. Is this in the upcoming system update? I do of course have a pro.
I thought it was mandatory for all upcoming games to have a Pro patch. Where did you hear Persona 5 wouldn't?

The Jasons run faster
story mode is super smooth
While that's absolutely true(and not just for Sony) - the timing of this does suggest it had little to do with competition.c0de said:If anything, Sony would be dumb to ignore what the competition is doing
I give Sony lots of shit, I'll be the first to admit. They do some dumb shit at times and as someone who's been down since PS1 it can get frustrating. But this? This is awesome and completely deserving of all the adulation.
Hoping GTAV received some enhancements as well.
I meant in regards to heat/noise from the console.
GTA itself does see some benefits, particularly Online which now has no stutter for me.
