That'd be a bit odd. We've seen it in action and it's pretty clearly not as dangerous on its own as a Thunderjaw. Methinks it'd be a bit lower.

It definitely doesn't seem as threatening on its own compared to the Thunderjaw or the Stormbird. However, the difficult does increase quite significantly when you start adding other machines to the fight. Fighting many corrupters at once or one with a bunch of corrupted around it should provide a decent challenge.
Now is the time where we start wondering what 2 Thunderjaws or 2 Stormbirds will do to us...

There should be more tampons in gaming
The danger with the corruptor is its ability to "corrupt" other machines and turn what may be a 1v1 battle into a 1 vs many battle. Don't get me wrong, it's dangerous all on its own but its unique is what makes it more threatening. We've seen people play against the Corrupter and not incur a tremendous amount of damage, the same can't be said about the Thunderjaw even for demonstration purposes. That's why I personally thing it's unlikely that there will be a corrupted Thunderjaw, in a 1v1 fight the Thunderjaw would eradicate the Corrupter. Still, would be cool to see an even more aggressive Thunderjaw.
Man, I know we've both said this before but I really want there to be a Silverback Gorilla in here!

Gosh. Looking at this videos, I was thinking wouldn't it be cool if there is combination attack from mixes of machines? Like for example Stormbird carrying watchers and bombard/drop it on Aloy or some sort of docking combination between machines. (I know they somewhat interact with each others but not to this extent from what we know so far)

I love how the reveal gameplay for this game showed two Thunderjaws walking together. Those fights are going to be crazy.
Or a corrupted Thunderjaw...

Really? I think they're super cool. Distinct machines, each part of an ecosystem and with their own attacks and weaknesses and an insane attention to detail. Beats the generic bad guys you waste in most other open world games.
Its just not appealing to me, I don't like shooting metallic robots as main enemies. Also couldn't get into that japense sci-fi TPS where you constantly talk to your squadmates and shoot robots, can't remember the name.

What about those bird like machines, doesn't look like a stormbringer, much smaller. Starts at 3:30 of the video. Never seen those in action before.
I played Vanquish, but didn't enjoy it very much (aside from the enemy design, I didn't like the lack of a proper story[at least I can't really remember one] and it was also one of the very few games that made be nauseous in some of the more rollercoastery parts)

I think those are called glinthawk? not sure. they throw bombs at you
they are glinthawk, they are much smaller than strombringer , you can see them salvaging the robo parts in PSX trailer.

I have compiled a list of all the machines we have until now, using source videos and resource menu in Horizon, I have managed to pullout some names from some machines yet to have been confirmed, idk if this is spoilerish or not, so i'll just spoilertag them all and let you guys decide if I matched the names correctly with the machines. I have 20 machines so far, did I miss anyone?

The Charger/Strider look the same to me. Same for the Grazer/Lancehorn and Deathbringer/Glinthawk.

Oh wow, didn't even notice the horns on the Charger. Yeah, that looks to be based on a Ram or something. It just seems to have a similar body to the Strider. And I guess the Lancehorn is a separate machine from the Grazer, and not just a variation. Grazer = deer and Lancehorn = gazelle.
