I also don't think this proves he is a piece of shit (unless something else comes up that without a shadow of doubt proves he was/is that sort of person) but it's a bad look to have, especially when kids look at every single move you make.

That's a big reason as to why UEFA and FIFA (and the other confederations I'm sure, I just don't follow them as much) seem to be extremely harsh on players that display extremist attitudes, especially if they're big stars and/or playing on teams/leagues with great visibility. From what little I've seen of his videos, he seems to make the kind of content that is built around keeping short attention spans from looking away, so I suppose it was only a matter of time until he learned a lesson like this.

I accept his explanation, but the lack of foresight in making videos like this is the problem. He has a large, very young audience and a big money backers like Disney have a lot to protect. Giving him a sharp slap on the wrists like this hopefully sends a message to similar social media personalities who have contracts with traditional media that they have to put more forethought into what they make rather than just brainfarting whatever comes in to their heads in an effort to keep little fingers from clicking to the next video.

I think Pewdiepie is struggling with his fame. But it seems like he does realize he's struggling himself.

He doesn't like to act the way he used to be when his channel was primarily about let's play videos. He's moved offices a bunch of times, is now creating content that is not as fun as he used to be, but also he can't seem to move on to something new.

The Nazi stuff honestly just seems a way to provoke people, but I completely understand the fallout he's getting. On the other hand, he is able to do a lot of positive, like raising a bunch of money for charity last December.

Actually, in the very same video, other fiverr guys denied his requests. For example, a Girl that offers to play Hearthstone declined his offer to play Roblox with him instead.

Or another user that offers to create math graphs declined to make a penis shaped graph for him.


So after being declined those harmless requests, he didn't expected the most severe one to actually be fullfilled, hence why he is so shocked in this video

If you watch the video, a lot of his requests are turned down by the individuals providing the service on Fiverr, things like drawing a dick in a graph on math lab, or playing a different game together instead of the one that is advertised. I think his response to the few that do comply with his request is genuine, not faked. Watching for the persons reaction is why he got big in the first place with horror games.
