I think if there are any cool editions it'll be relegated to designed Joycons, which will also be sold separate.

I do hope there's more availability at launch window.

Putting my Switch preorder up for a trade for NieR Automata Black Box Edition. My order was cancelled for apparently having the wrong card info so I'm really upset right now.

But I know the chances of more being made are slim to none so I can sacrifice the Switch for a chance at one.

I still get nervous doing this. I lost my FFXV collectors edition pre order because I was doing the same thing. Amazon rep told me not to apply giftcards to existing pre orders anymore. *shrugs*

EDIT: by lost, as in I lost my place in line, it was gonna ship late and ended up having to change it to one day shipping to still get it on time.

As a reminder for those of you that signed up for a free Prime trial when the Neon Switch went up late last month: Your trial likely ends on February 26th. (That's when mind ends)

If you don't want your Switch suddenly becoming $100 more expensive, don't forget to opt out of continuing the Prime subscription.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I manage to purchase Japanese version of the The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Special Edition for Switch and I am thinking in giving up my pre-order of the US version on Amazon and the same goes from the standad version, just the game.

Please PM if someone are interested,

Pretty pissed. I had preordered an additional L/R joycon set of the red/blue combo, and went to check my order status and apply some giftcards only to see that it had been changed to blue only. Wasn't able to change back and they are out of stock now.

So my Pro Controller preorder still shows delivery date pending. Obviously still some time until launch, but beginning to wonder if I'll get it on the 3rd.

If switching the shipping address for a US preorder is safe I can probably hook up a GAFer with a Gray if they have the gift card codes for it.

Amazon has my Switch and Zelda arriving March 3. My charging grip and pro controller, however, still say Not Yet Shipped and no delivery estimate yet.

Change the delivery address and have them paypal you the money, pretty much.

Wow March 3rd is coming up fast. I need to decide if I'm keeping my preorder or not. I am playing Nioh right now and I have Horizon on the 28th, Ghost Recon on the 7th and Mass Effect on the 21st. I would basically have 2 weeks to play Horizon, Zelda & Ghost Recon because everything is getting abandoned for a while when Mass Effect comes out.

My BotW Master Edition still says March 3rd along with many of the Switch accessories. Pro Controller is the only one that says delivery pending.

Thinking of canceling my Horizon Zero Dawn CE to have the funds for the Switch. But I really don't want to cancel it! It's either give up the CE or give up the Zelda Arts and Artifacts Limited Edition and just go with a standard version.

Sort of my thinking. With so many games available right now, the idea of spending $360 for a single game seems unwise as there is plenty to keep my attention. So part of me says wait until the library expands, but the other part likes new shit.

Or send you Amazon Gift code for the order amount, and apply it to the preorder, that way your card doesn't get charged when it shipped. I've done exactly that with multiple Switch preorders this past week and it worked smoothly.

Thanks for the advice.

So, does anyone want the preorder? Ill post in BST as well, otherwise ill cancel before my own card gets charged.

I chatted with an Amazon rep this morning and they said I'd still definitely be receiving it on launch despite what it says. So who knows.

Honestly, I'm mulling over if I really want to spend $70 on a controller anyway though. I'm probably going to play the majority of games in handheld mode, but would like to have a Pro Controller for Splatoon 2.

I also really wish it included an audio jack like the PS4 controller has.

Same boat I'm in. Current plan is to skip Horizon for now, play Zelda on Switch, then get Mass Effect and then when done with that hopefully Horizon should be getting some sales.

But at the same time, I would have no shortage of games to play this year on PS4 Pro and PC, thus it probably makes more sense to wait and see on Switch and how it's selling etc. But like you, I like new things, and I like supporting Nintnedo.

So I'm torn. I just found out the review embargo for Horizon lifts on the 20th, so I'll wait until then and read a bunch of reviews. If I get more hyped for that than Zelda, I'll cancel my Switch preorder. If not, I'll keep it and stick to the above plan.

Thanks for reminding me about the BST thread and it's location. I might or might not be in the same boat to sell off a second pre-order to a fellow member on here if I can't sell to a friend (no-profit in either case). I'd rather it go to someone I have a connection with even loosely than a random person who might also potentially just want to scalp it.

I feel guilty reading this thread and knowing I'm going to have to cancel my pre-order in a few days due to money being tight and too paranoid to deal with Paypal. At least someone down the line will get a unit who wouldn't have.

Don't feel guilty. No one here is dealing with your finances and you don't owe anyone anything. Just cancel. Rip it off like a band aid.
