I still don't understand how so many could ignore his really well written and great explanation :/. Meh.
Heads in the sand. People just wanted to continue being negative.

What/where is this thing?
July chips dont necessarily mean july dev kits
That's how pretty much all modern portable electronic devices look on the inside. Not that it isn't impressive, but it's not unusual. It's pretty wild that there's nearly no air inside. It's so densely designed.
A2? Pascal?
Are you joking? It's just a chip revision.Yeah I'm guessing so.
What/where is this thing?
Dat L-shaped heat pipe. FoxCon leak strikes again!
What/where is this thing?
It's there in the first two pictures in the OPWhat/where is this thing?
What/where is this thing?
Looks like a WiFi and Bluetooth module.
Translating from Chinese it says something about "memory". I have no idea if it's ram or flash memory (storage) though.What/where is this thing?
That's it.HAC-EMMC, so a module for the internal memory (perhaps a single 32GB flash memory chip?).
Blows my mind that something this size:
HAC-EMMC, so a module for the internal memory that is perhaps only hosting a single 32GB flash memory chip?What/where is this thing?
I assumed it was the internal storage, it says emmc on it
So for a total pleb like myself, does this make it some kind of powerhouse like a PS4 portable?

For some reason that 2nd image made me think that there was a New Super Mario Bros DS card inside the Switch.

There's another detail the Foxconn leak has correct.Foxconn leak said:I had a look at the heatsink today, there's a L shaped heat pipe 0.8cm wide and about 12cm long, placed upside down.
Yup!I think

Holy shit, they do mention it!

Which photo shows the secret sauce?
I can't wait for a technology breakthrough with batteries, when it happens, mobile computing will change as we know it.
That's what I thought too. I seems to be pretty easy to replace the battery for example. From what I'm seeing here, I can see the Switch getting a fairly high repairability score.

...no
It's on an extra PCB so Nintendo can use the main PCB for all different storage SKUs that might be coming in the future. At least that's my guess.
Well not exactly a PS4, but the same kind of impact for handhelds that the PS4 had for home consoles.
Buying an SD card it's probably easier.Might also be possible for someone to physically hack themselves extra storage maybe?
Wi-Fi module.
Yes, thats what's mentioned in the foxconn leak. But the leaks sounds just like a guy that took a look at the Switch GPU and went "it looks like a pascal GPU with A73" isn't that impossible just by looking at it?
Uh no. Internal storage. What are you smoking?

I think a lot of people here are oblivious to the fact that you can enlarge these images lol
So that means you can't get a third party extended battery.
