That's clearly a J and not an L.
Also, would a Chinese refer to a Latin letter to describe shape?
Okay, now this is an absurd series of statements.

Because he knows english too? I don't understand the implication

Nope. Better draw distance. Different lighting. Higher resolutions textures. Actually some of the textures aren't even the same as the wiiu version.

You're comparing a recent build of the Switch Zelda to a really old build of the Wii U Zelda, until we have launch code we can't do a proper comparison.
This philosophical question just hit me and it's more of a curiosity. If somebody writing in a different alphabet refer another alphabet to describe shapes? I find it fascinating if true.
Power banks are your only hope at extending the battery life, they literally can't fit anything larger inside this thing and it doesn't seem removable without opening the system.Nice piece of tech.
Anyone know if that 1500 battery is possibly upgradeable?
The guy nails things like battery capacities that a person without access to the hardware would never know, and you're literally splitting hairs on J vs L? Maybe because English is usually a compulsory foreign language class in many other countries and the fact that they see English letters on the products they fabricate day after day?
LMAO come on now.
Umm we know the cores from the official sdk leak. A57s
The original text was in Chinese, wasn't it?

Lol the game went gold earlier this month. CmonThat "really old" wii u version was likely nearly finished, they'd been working on it for what 4 years at that point?
How is that even remotely the same? The Pro has very reasonable performance for a $400 home console released in 2016 (just as the original did in 2013). The Switch has abysmal performance for a $300 home console in 2017, IF that's what you view it as. Viewed as the handheld it really is it's more impressive. But some people don't want a handheld (dockable or not).

English is a pretty common secondary/alternate language for the majority of countries that don't speak it primarily. If you're traveling around Asia you'll usually see signs on public transportation in the native language and english, if there is another language printed
I was really talking about the sink, its a common design: http://www.machinaelectronics.com/store/buypart/Sony_Vaio_VGN-FE/NBT-CPMS1X-L
And its commonly referred to as an L or L-bracket sink. Who cares what it looks like, and someone who commonly works with these parts would call it an L regardless of their language (and english is largely universal, so... why would it even really matter?). Its not like he gave a German name.

What's the point of these teardowns? Do they put the device back together again? If not this is similar to the cell phone drop tests. If so, what a waste of tech.
I'm not talking about English though. I'm talking about alphabet/writing. I'm sure you're aware about the existence of different writing, yeah?
A writing in which "L" doesn't exist.
Not sure if anyone else has pointed this out, but the re-translated Foxconn leak said this:
Now, take a look at the heatsink, fan, and fins:
In addition to everything else the Foxconn leak had correct, I just can't see any way that this observation in particular was a wild guess. I'm now fully convinced that the Foxconn leak was 100% correct, which means we're currently looking at a Pascal chip X1 chip, likely using 4 A72 cores, and will be seeing a more powerful dock for 4K gaming later on.
Nice piece of tech.

The Chinese language isn't alphabet based, it's based on characters.
I'm lost in this thread. What are we talking about with the J/L heatsink?
Neogaf: the place where the members can design AAA games, run Fortune 500 companies and solve world hunger.Lol. I love these threads.

are we seriously discussing whether a Foxconn employee knows what the letter L looks like?
Thank you. Interesting. I guess this is somehow imported? Does a Chinese specific term exists for it too?
Well, they do get English classes over there in China/HK.
The Foxcon leaker didnt know if its A57 or A72/A73, that part was guessed. He only knew that it was ARMv8. I think the Pascal/16nm thing was also guessed.`But the clocks are interesting.
I feel like I'm running around in circles.
So do you actually speak Chinese?
We're only running in circles because you're taking everyone down this ridiculous path of wondering whether a Chinese person knows what an L is
I never said a Foxconn employee doesn't know what the letter L looks like.
I really hope, for your sake, that you are getting paid to post this stuff, otherwise...you are putting way too much spare time into it.That's clearly a J and not an L.

apparentlyY'all still clinging to that pascal rumour?
