Retro released two games for GameCube and two for Wii.
It was Wii U that just had one.
Never speak for others, it makes you look very bad.People don't want another DKC game.

Just like you are now.
The difference between DKCR's and TF's sales are massive. If people wanted another DKC game, the gap wouldn't have been that great.
Don't use sales when trying to convience people want a Metroid game more then DKJust like you are now.

Yes, people like to forget DKC Returns sold more than the Prime series combined. Even Tropical Freeze, hobbled by the Wii U, outperformed two of the three Prime games (including 3 which was on the red hot Wii)
Please be original IP.
The only developer I really want to work on DK now is Playtonic (with Sumo Digital assisting them). With that, Retro can work on Metroid or even better a new IP.
I also would love Camelot to get a chance to make DK64 2 as they said they wanted to years ago.
Was never a fan of Retro's take on DK. One aspect that REALLY didn't sit well with me was... them upping the pitch on Diddy's voice for no reason. Why was he so squeaky? I love his voice and that always bugged me in their games.
Metroid gets a trilogy, Donkey Kong gets a trilogy.
What's the next trilogy they should do?

By the way, Alexander Brandon is a huge Metroid fan: http://www.vgmpf.com/Wiki/index.php/Alexander_Brandon
He interviewed Hip Tanaka, the composer of the original Metroid, in 2002: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/featur...he_hip_an_.php
Doesn't mean he is working on Metroid, but still interesting.
Listening to this guys entire body of work (or what I could find on YouTube) and he will definitely be in good company at Retro Studios. Everything I've heard so far oozes with atmosphere.
To be honest, I'll play whatever Retro dishes out. They've made great games. If there's a new Metroid or a new Donkey Kong, if they make a new IP or work on an entirely different IP of Nintendo's. I'll play them.
Can someone post a few of his standout tracks?
Oh man... can't help but get hyped for Metroid by Retro but I will be crushed if it's anything else...
Same here. They are 5 out of 5 so far, including the best game ever made.
I think it was this one?
As I said, Retro are definitely working on something Donkey Kong related. It may be a while off yet though.
Who is this man, and should I believe him?

Can't wait for that sci fi donkey Kong. I hope we can play as a woman for this one.

Not that I've seen. Do you have the quote?

Here's more from what Evb said:
From the 3 years Retro thread
This is from the Scorpio thread.
He has also shown to know some stuff involving Microsoft, but of course he could be wrong as others have be before so take that with a grain of salt.
Ugh. Listen, I really liked DKCR and Tropical Freeze. But we get like one Retro game a generation. If they spent 3 years making a 2D platformer, regardless of how good their track record is, I'm going to be disappointed.
