It looks good, wish Deakins had channeled his inner Cronenweth a bit more though. :p What's going on with the story though, I have no clue.

Fuck me, that was good.

Music sounds SUPER Blade Runnery.

Well it should since it's an arrangement from the original score.

What is up with trailers showing bits of what you're about to see before actually starting the trailer? Why is that a thing now?

Seems like this is way more Ryan Goslings move than Fords. Thought it was gonna be 50/50.

I've never watched the original. It is my understanding there are multiple versions of the movie out there. What's the best one to watch? I'm willing to give it a shot and see if I like the movie then if I do, I'll see this one. :)

Looks and sounds better than previous teasers.

Still looks a bit "bland" aesthetic wise though compared to the first. Guess smog and dust will do that though.

Looks nice, looking forward to seeing it.

What is up with these pre-trailer trailers though? Is this just a annoying thing movie companies does now?

It's meant for YouTube, so they can run the trailers as ads and people won't skip them. You have to put something interesting right up front. When companies started using trailers as YouTube ads you would get the green MPAA screen for the first five seconds so you wouldn't even see a frame of the actual trailer before you could skip.

I find it fucking annoying personally, but I get why they do it.

Look great but they gotta stop it with Harrison running around with his old ass age. He looks ridiculous lol

The Final Cut is all you need.

Most people will say Director's Cut or Final Cut. I'd go ahead and go with the Final Cut.

Atari, wow, that takes me back.
Movie looks fine but I didn't love this trailer as much as I wanted to. The cinematography looks a bit off (compared to the first one of course, I'm not saying it looks bad) and I'm not feeling Harrison Ford and Leto.
I'll be there day one though.

I've seen this reasoning posted before.

Skip what? The video is the trailer itself. Keep that shit for the actual ads.

Basically they will play this exact trailer as an ad before YouTube videos which is why they include that stupid preview shit in it.

Looks too much like Ghost in the Shell. Audiences will be scared off.

I'm just playing. This looks really good. Gosling looks be channeling his performance from 'Drive' here.

It looks like some of it, but it will most likely be given a better story even if it's complex and could go over some viewers heads. The GITS movie was just too safe and uninteresting.

I only seen the original about 6 months ago, still not sure how I feel about it but this trailer looked pretty good. This might also be the first film I have ever seen with Ryan Gosling in it.

Even if the script is crap at the very least it will look nice :)
I hope Gosling's character isn't just a retread of Ford's.

Final Cut or Director's Cut. Or grab the edition that has all of them. Lol

The difference is the addition, removal and tweaking of some scenes save for the theatrical vs director's cut where one has narration and the latter doesn't.

For when this trailer is used for ads and you can skip after 5 seconds on youtube.

Really liked everything about this trailer. I was nervous but I'm on board.
