Just... wow.

I need to watch Arrival now.

Yes you do.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering about myself. I dont' know what it is that Gosling is trying to figure out, but what with watching a replicant get born, and that specific line, it really does seem like we're dealing with a movie where humanity is either already outnumbered by Replicants, or is facing an immediate future where that's about to happen.

We Nier Automata, boys and girls. B-)

Looks pretty cool. Will definitely check it. Not sure about Gosling in this, but the visuals seem on point and the snippets of story look relatively interesting.

Visuals are too dang clean... I mean it obviously looks fantastic but Blader Runner was all about that clutter and griminess.

Still reluctantly hyped even though I wish this movie was never happening.

Actually had to decide whether to watch it or not. Ended up watching half before turning it off.
Gonna go into this pure like I did Arrival (and pretty much all of Villeneuve's works).

I like that they're keeping Gosling's motivation unclear so far. I'm sorta hoping it's a flip on the original Blade Runner and he straight up knows that he is a replicant designed to hunt other replicants.

The Final Cut is all you need.

Most people will say Director's Cut or Final Cut. I'd go ahead and go with the Final Cut.

Final Cut or Director's Cut. Or grab the edition that has all of them. Lol

The difference is the addition, removal and tweaking of some scenes save for the theatrical vs director's cut where one has narration and the latter doesn't.

Looks like the final cut it is! Thanks all.

I completely agree it looks too clean. In fact if you look at the announcement trailer and the teaser they cleaned up some of the dirtiness which is disappointing.

But Leto looks awesome here.

Just hope no cheesy dialogue.

Watched it 5 times now. That cinematography seems just stupidly good.

This is going to be the year for Deakins, it just has to be.

It almost seems like they are segregated intentionally (the "wall" that is spoken to), and Leto is building some kind of resistance or something? Or, just trying to make Replicants "the new human".

Yeh, Blade Runner is supposed to take place in a world on the brink of dying. It seems like the world somehow got a lot better in 30 years. Maybe Atari created an unlimited energy source.

All this new trailer honestly deflated any sort of hype I had for the movie, all it did was remind me why I didn't want a sequel. I get that the trailers for the first one depicted it as an action flick, but this seems to have a bit more action while going a bit too ham with the philosophical questions for my tastes.

Dennis Villeneuve can shoot the shit out of a movie, but all I see is a pretty movie which gives away too much of the mystery of the first and made more blockbuster to appease hollywood execs. I get it, I shouldn't judge a movie by the trailer or start taking all that away from promotional material. But all I see is warning signs from it.

Whose eye is this supposed to be, I wonder.

I guess I didn't realize that the screenplay was written by Hampton Fancher, who wrote the original film, and Michael Green, who is the co-executive producer and a writer on American Gods with Bryan Fuller.

We may be in better hands here than we thought.

David Peoples contributed a hell of a lot to the original screenplay.

And he wrote the awesome Blade Runner game. The guy's good.
