[RUMOR] Super Smash Bros Switch images leaked

I was going to say it could be real and that maybe those aren't the 3DS models, they just changed the shading style to be somewhere between the Wii U and 3DS versions, but the whole thing about "1P" and "Bowser Jr." make me feel pretty safe in saying this is fake.

Highlighted the contradictions : can't be neither a Japanese version nor an English version: using the wrong conventions

"Leak" screenshots: Bowser Jr., 1P

"Bowser" was never his name in Japan, so most players wouldn't know who it is. Note that Koopa are called "Nokonoko"
Original game:
Japanese (Left): Koopa Jr., 1P
English (Right): Bowser Jr., P1

Either it's fake, or the source is mistaken about getting all the screens from the same place for a japanese magazine.

Hope it's fake and Smash is next year or something. Enough with the multiplayer titles for now. Single player Switch owners need a bone.

There was Zelda at launch, Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade 2 are supposed to come out this year and that MARIO X Rabbids RPG is probably going to be primarily single player.

Xenoblade 2 releases this year.

Yeah, and that's something great to look forward to...but it'd also be nice to have a few more titles apart from just that.

I think we -will- see more at E3, but right now the lineup is definitely very multiplayer focused.

I don't know, after seeing those upscaled MM3D shots the other day and after the infamous Rayman and Palutena leaks, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if these were really well made fakes.

On the other hand, we kinda know this is coming so...

That revamped Sticker Star stage though...

I'd be totally down with a "Chibi Zips In!" reveal. But he's a tiny robot so that wouldn't make sense...anyways, how would Chibi fight Ridley?

I want Chibi-Robo's gimmick to be he's too short to be hit with standard attacks (Mario's standard punch won't hit him) but the trade-off is that he can be sent flying very easily and deals fairly weak attacks, but he's hard to hit lmao

Does anyone else think that if this releases this year, having a huge part of the switch exclusives be multiplayer focused games (mario kart, splatoon 2, arms and smash) is kinda a bummer? I hope they announce a lot of new sp focused games this E3.

Ok after seeing the video again I realized there's nothing new on it. Could perfectly be a video of the Wii U version played on the Switch.

The leaker, Tokai (I guess) is really saying this...

So someone posted more stuff here. Including himself playing the game in a short video.

Looks legit??
I would've given this credence if he actually bothered to show footage of something that isn't possible on the older versions. This really doesn't add much, and he probably just edited footage on top of his switch.

Hope you're right and we get something at E3 that we don't have to wait till the holiday season to play.

Smash is fun and all, but I just don't have people to play local multi with so I'd rather some great Nintendo single player campaigns. Even Mario Maker would be a lot more appealing imo.

That said, even if this is fake, we all know Smash is coming eventually. Don't need a rumor to tell us that.

Does the switch even do that wavy camcorder effect when recorded? I don't remember seeing that problem in any of DF's handheld videos.
