Its all one thing.

Green lantern pic is a super hero.

Snow picture is a Blizzard.

A Blizzard game about superheroes. Overwatch!

Besides Persona 5. overwatch was the one game I wanted to be ported. Hype is now at maximum.

Yeah probably not true but I can dream. Blizzard pls.

Fuck, you guys are actually getting me hyped again,

If there's a Blizzard game, my guess is Diablo. It's an obvious choice for Switch. Local multiplayer, last-gen assets, and new content coming shortly, bypassing Nintendo's current "no straight ports" policy/strategy

Going in with low expectations because Nintendo has burned me bad at E3, but I'm still crossing my fingers for 2D Metroid and Mother 3.

Sorry, I'm trying to be intentionally vague to try and protect my source.

I will say that the all three hints have been guessed correctly at this point, but not all by one person.

I will also say that the text hint represents two games from the same franchise (one of which is on 3DS and Switch). I'll also say it's not Pokemon, as much as I wish it was.

Finally, I find some people's interpretation of the second image pretty funny. It makes me wonder if they've lived anywhere with Winter weather ;)

So blizzard image was teasing something else & 3ds/Switch game seems like Metroid?

Some dude at EZA thread is teasing Spotlight announcement (not sure if he's legit though)

Edit : He's saying his text and image teases are two separate things

OK, here goes:

Hal Jordan is a Green Lantern. Green Lantern is made by DC. DC Stands for Detective Comics. Ergo, Famicom Detective Club revival by Telltale.

Second picture is of snow. Snow is in the winter. Winter has Santa. Santa has elves. Elves are in medival times. Medival Times is a resturaunt. Resturaunts also include food trucks. Food Trucks are essentially moving food stands. Some Food Stands have tacos. Ergo, Waluigi's Taco Stand.

Someone call up Detective Conan, becuase this case is CLOSED.

Bets that nintendo will showcase bge2 today?

I'd love to see BG&E2 to show up on the Switch, but at this stage I doubt Ubisoft will clear the air about platforms at all by the end of the week, and am in fact looking forward to what their PR evasion will be when people press them on the matter. Don't count on it in Nintendo's presentation at all.

I'm a new Nintendo console owner with the Switch (last had N64), can we expect much 3rd party stuff? I really hoped some of the games announced so far would be on Switch but they aren't lol.

A few have been announced. Ubisoft had 4 games today. (Steep, Starlink, Just Dance and Mario +Rabids) however expect slim pickings vs other platforms outside of sports and other T rated titles.

I know I'm going to be disappointed, but Ubisoft not saying anything about the platforms BGE2 is coming out for and we're down to one conference left has got my spider senses tingling.

It won't be Nintendo exclusive, but I definitely think a marketing deal or window of timed exclusivity.

To me it seems like two Metroid games, a HAL game and a Blizzard game.

HAL porting Smash to Switch makes the most sense to me.

Blizzard...I'm guessing it's either Hearthstone OR it's an F-Zero game with Sakurai at the helm because he asked about Captain FAlcon during the leadup to Smash U

Right now, I hate to say it but it's looking like 3rd party support is WiiU level at this point. Not holding much hope going forward. It's pretty sad.

Won't be until next year. Third parties only just discovered Switch isn't going to bomba.

If it's an upcoming game we've heard about already that has been marked only for PS4/X1, don't count on it.

Third-party support on Nintendo tends to fall into these categories:
- Mass-market IPs well tested with Nintendo demographics (Sonic, Lego, Just Dance)
- Japanese IPs with a long association with Nintendo and/or portables (Monster Hunter, Professor Layton, SMT)
- Collaborations using Nintendo IPs (Rabbids, FE Warriors)
- Indies (some of which target Nintendo as their first/only console, alongside PC)

HAL porting Smash to Switch makes the most sense to me.

If Smash is a port, I don't see why HAL would take the lead on it over Namco.

One small-scale surprise I could absolutely see from HAL is a BoxBoy Trilogy port. Or something involving Kirby, if the firepower for the anniversary year isn't all going straight to the 3DS. But they would be a natural candidate for reimagining a good number of dormant IPs dating back to the 8-bit era.

Stuff like Anthem that's developed with "technological graphics showcase" in mind, no.

Other third party fare, I expect to start thin and become more steady as the console grows. FROM is developing something for Switch, which is basically one of the only third parties I really get excited about personally. I'm intensely curious as to what they could be doing on the console (and in general).

Pretty shocked FROM didn't show up at Sony's conference, even if I wasn't expecting BB2. I guess it's possible they're holding back announcements for a Japan-centered show, but they've never been shy about being at E3. Them being a part of Nintendo'a news day would be a pleasant and shocking surprise.

Green Lantern? Who else is green? Link? Yoshi? Luigi?

Okay so Luigi Mansion 2? Cool...

Winter... Ice? Ice Climbers?

Luigi Mansion and Ice Climbers? Huh.

Hm... So Metroid on Switch and 3DS? Or Hey Pikmin and Pikmin 4?

Well there was a rumor about a Metroid 3DS game. Can't remember who mentioned it recently. It's possible they revived that canned Metroid game that NLG was working on a few years ago. Really weird if they legitimately launch 2 Metroid games, with one being exclusive to the 3DS.

Hypothetically 2 Metroid games could come in the form of 2D for 3DS and 3D on Switch. Wouldn't be the first time (Prime / Fusion)

Anyway - I'm hyped for whatever we'll see. I'm primed and ready to be let down

I'm going for Luigis Mansion and 1080 snowboarding (they wouldn't do the latter as to not piss off Ubisoft, but gotta have that wildcard guess).
