Edit: Or maybe he never confirmed it
That would be the correct fact.

You would know
I'm surprised the beta resolution was lower than 1080p in the first placeFrom other thread...
It standard ran at 720p but it was dynamic resolutionThe beta didn't run at 720p.
Edit: seems I remember incorrectly?
This is fucking Nintendo treehouse, there is no mostranslation habe some respects for peoples jobs
There are no new screens for Splatoon 2
I'm surprised the beta resolution was lower than 1080p in the first place
This game visuals is nothing too crazy that it demands stronger hardware it doesn't have to render crazy high res textures and explosions etc

I downloaded it. No screensThey're up on the official social media channel.I didn't have the press kit login for this year, so I've only seen those.Just kidding, I was sent the press login. There's a Splatoon 2 package on there, I'm going to take a look.
On a live show, when you have to translate as fast as possible, you can always lose something on the way. it's not disrespectful. Also keep in mind that OP didn't edited his post yet when I made my post.
If it can run 1080p/60 I really hope they can find some way to get split screen running at 720/30. I'd take the sacrifice for some couch co-op.
Now please fix Pokken, Odyssey and Xenoblade 2.
Yeah, because "1080" and "720" are easy to mistake with one another
All 720p docked. Mario and Pokken look fine but Xeno 2 has framerate drops and a lot of jaggies.

Every Switch game is output at 1080p even if it's sub 1080p native.
1080 p and 60 fps. Love it.
I'll rather that than 4k 30 fps
No, but things like native/output and more technical aspect, yes. No need to be passive agressive when I just said to stay cautious on that kind of things until release, lol.
no HDR? accepter of unpure pixels!Sorry Nintendo. I only accept 4k now.
Wait, Pokken is 720p docked? Why? What's that game doing that so resource intensive? Maybe Bandai Namco need to get some pointers from Nintendo.
It's also sad to hear that Xenoblade 2 is 720p, too. When did that information come out?
My man.1080 p and 60 fps. Love it.

Never, there's no source for any of that.
We're finally getting Nintendo first party games in 1080p and it's glorious. Odyssey needs to hit 1080p as Well!
Tears of joy. Thank you Nintendo! Next up... Super Mario Odyssey!
Are we sure it's not 1080p?

Q: "It was brought up at one of today's Treehouse events that Splatoon 2 would run at 1080p, and I hadn't seen that confirmed elsehere. A Treehouse rep mentioned the resolution, and Hisashi Nogami affirmed shortly after. Display resolution isn't mentioned in the provided Fact Sheet. The recent beta had recently run at a lower resolution. Is there an official stated game resolution for Splatoon 2?"
A: "If Mr. Nogami stated such, then it's true."
