"We don't care anymore"
Kinda reminds me of 343 with Halo Collection.
You could have fixed this game with a well placed set of dlc missions
All you had to do was to acknowledge the mistakes made and fix them with more content
See below, Bioware fked up during preproduction and planning. And an engine they struggled to make heads or tails out of.
It was like FF15 on Luminous; they spent most of that time fighting the engine.
Yeah, it's definitely work to transition an engine, but a lot of BioWare's issues with Mass Effect is they didn't actually put all the technology they needed in place before deciding to enter production, which is the much bigger issue, since you then have a game built on a foundation that doesn't exist yet.
By comparison we can look at basically every other game EA has shipped on Frostbite and see that actually working out for them. The only other one that really seemed to struggle with the final product was the canceled C&C game.
I feel like the only person who liked this game. And I played it before all of the patches that seem to have directly addressed a lot of the issues people had. Oh well.

All about Anthem now...cause that ish looks amazing.
The first Mass Effect game was a revelation.
Made me believe that there was still some fresh vision left in the games industry.

I love when I have to pay more to fix a bad product!
I'd rather it die than fix everything for an extra $20.
Attack the opinions, not the people.I'm still cringing at the gaf members who were defending this shit show.
I agree but given how Bioware have designed their open world games with an overemphasis on MMO quest designs,Im doubtful that they can make a decent single player component.
Hopefully they take the lessons they learnt with DAI and MEA and avoid the sheer tedium of the MMO-like quests that padded those games.
Is performance fine on ps4 pro?
These news hurt! Loved the Trilogy.
Still have my Andromeda copy to play. Is it worth it? Or should I just cut my losses?
I have heard the story and crew quests are pretty good as is the combat and graphics.
Fuck. Why couldn't they scrap Anthem and focus all of those resources on this? Is following the Destiny (albeit with a TPS) money that important? I guess it is...
In a way I hate Anthem for killing Andromeda, I know it's not fair to Anthem, but it definitely had a significant impact on what Andromeda ended up being and could not have been.
Thanks was always waiting for patches but since they stopped I might as well pick it up as a mass effect fan.Yes, runs at 1800p via checker board rendering .. the IQ looked pretty good on my 4K TV. You can find it for $19.99 in a bunch of places too now. The patches did a pretty good job improving a lot of things about the animations etc since launch.
So, probably the best time to play this game now if you haven't already.
Aren't you also the only person on GAF who liked Dragon Age 2?
Just saying........
*runs*

Whatever. Just slap this thing on EA Access and be done with it.
I think it's still selling enough. Granted my source is a Youtube video about RPG's making more money this year than last and I don't remember which youtube channel it was. Lol...
