We probably won't see it until next year.

The last Thursday before Christmas is not a great time to release it.

If a physical edition is released in the West I won't see it until the new year.

I hope the mouse support is good...so the steam controller support is good too! I enjoyed drawing shapes with the trackpads in the Trine games, so hoping for the best here too!

I'm so glad that this is coming out on modern gaming plaftorms, now i can finally put away my Ps3 (and my Dualshock 3)!

I really loved it, despite at least a couple of major fatal flaws, like everyone said.

This game really needs a text skip option (not just on NG+ like in the Ps3 remaster) and an additional difficulty level.

That's the first time I've seen "XBONE" in an actual published news source.

Wonder what the odds of Move support are. My favorite feature of the Wii and PS3 ports was drawing the brush strokes with the pointer.

I tried playing this on PS3 but the squawky filler voice got to me fast during the tutorial I guess it was. Does it happen during the whole game?

I have the Japanese PS3 retail disc. That will do, forever.

These Campcom ports of every game to every new generation are getting pretty old to be honest.

You're forgetting this isnt a regular re-release. Its the first time when all the millions of PC only gamers will have the chance at the game and the first time when we'll get to use the superior mouse and keyboard input for the game. Hope they get this right

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Eh .. already played and enjoyed the hell out of the PS3 port. I don't see myself getting it again until it drops to $14.99 or so.

This is one of those games I really love but can't see myself ever playing again. It's just so long. Cool that it's finally getting a PC port, though.

I started the game but kinda lost interest pretty early on. Seemed to take a while to get going, might give it another go.

Well I never played Okami before, just like I never played the REmake before the PS4 version was released, so I'm happy with this port

3 pages in and everyone's already forgot Laura Dale via Kotaku broke this as a rumour last month.

Re-reading that original thread is a bit of a shocker now.

Day 1 for me

Isn't this right around the time of the Steam Christmas Sale too? Maybe there'll be a bit of a discount like with MGS:Rising

Only made it just past the
9bi
battle before losing steam back when it came out on PS2. Don't know if I'm going to bother buying it on PC though. It'd have been a bit more enticing on Vita or Switch with touchscreen celestial brush controls.

I don't know why people say this is a 'very long' or 'overly long' game, I replayed it last year and it took less than 25 hours, admittedly I was never stuck and I did not do all of the side stuff, though I did do some and didn't rush it at all. That put it well in line with most Zelda games as an obvious comparison (at least pre BoTW which took me 40-50) and I felt it was paced well enough too, bar the slow opening which again I feel is exaggerated, once it's done it's done and it's only 20 minutes to get out of Kamiki Village.

Persona 5 on the other hand? There's a game that had no right being as long (84 hours!!!!!) as it did.

Never played this.

Is it character action?

Basically Zelda with character action combat, some really unique mechanics and beautiful setting/artstyle/soundtrack, but less emphasis on dungeons.
Apart from the slow ass start one of the best games I ever played.

It does have one of the slowest starts ever

Yeah the first 2 hours or so are a total slog with the non skippable text and grating voices. Everything after that makes it so damn worth it though.

Some music just because.

And some more.

And another one.

One last title. So damn good.

Damn, who does Laura Dale work for? Is she just a freelancer? I feel like I've seen her name under 5 different outlets. Either way, she has some real connections.

Disc? Don't fail us now capcom, you rectified yourself when you released the disc of RE 4 HD.

Don't screw up again like you did when you released Okami HD for PS3.

Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2 collection should have been a higher priority given its not on any last or current gen system. Okami still cool though.
