The only title I'd go crazy for is a new Strikers. I'm keeping my expectations in check, this will be a showcase for new Arms characters, BotW dlc, something Splat2, XC2 (possible release date) and an hd remaster at most (talking Switch here, don't really care what they show for the 3ds)

I could never beat Harry. Every time I'm reminded of Mario Golf, I keep thinking to myself that I should pull out the old N64 and try and beat him, but I never do. I really want to beat him, though, and unlock Mario in the campaign mode so I can use Mario to beat the game. It's really frustrating that you can only use the first 4 characters in the campaign while there are 10 readily available in the other modes. Not being able to beat Mario Golf for the N64 is the sold reason I've avoided the Golf franchise since.

well reading these comments about luigi's mansion i understand the criticisms, however i always felt that the first game was undercooked, and the gameplay mechanics in 2 were much more evolved and fun to play. Liked the changing nature of the mansions too.

I hope everyone is ready to repeat all the "splatoon 2 is a port!!!!!!" shenanigans when Smash 5 is revealed.

Seriously. Its Smash. There is literally a 0% chance they'd do a port of Smash 4. They will never make a mere Smash port. People are just saying they will because of dumb old rumors or because they expect Nintendo to port everything when Nintendo hardly ever does ports, especially for muliplayer games. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is that very rare exception, not he rule. And Pokken is just because TPC are their own thing and do things differently. People who expect a ton of 1st party ports for Switch are in for a rude awakening.

Its baffling to me how anyone can expect a port of Smash. Its not happening. It will be a sequel released sometime between 2018-2020. It will never be a port, or even a port with some new contents like MK8D. Smash will never get a mere port.

For 3 they should just do some fast travelling through spooky mirrors or something. Because the atmosphere suffered from the arcade style level select. What was worse was the enemy design though. The bosses in 1 were so much better and less generic.

Luigi, who is house-sitting, thinks he has a big beautiful castle to himself for the week. But when Boos suddenly swarm the castle and put the castle staff to sleep, Luigi hides in a hall closet to avoid the commotion. In the closet, he finds the in-home model of the Poltergust. He reluctantly suits up.

So instead of a haunted mansion, it's the haunted Princess Peach's castle, taken over and redecorated by King Boo and his minions. Throughout the building, Luigi can also enter the nightmares of the castle staff. If he eradicates the Boo that is giving them bad dreams, the staff member returns to form and offers Luigi clues and assistance. Luigi cleanses the castle of its spooks and haunts just in time for Peach and crew to return. Not knowing what he's been through, they thank him for house-sitting with a kitschy little souvenir.


In my heart, this actually happened.

I don't see Animal Crossing being shown off until we hear more about the mobile title. Also don't think we will see MP4 or Fire Emblem Switch until after Samus Returns and Warriors releases. We also will not be seeing Pokemon Switch until after US/UM release.

Lol, people could've said the same of Mario Kart which is a much larger selling series. It may not be a straight port but I bet you will see Smash next year and it will be using an enhanced Smash 4 engine with a ton of coontent from 4. There may be more modes, characters and other content but I think it will be heavily derived from 4.

I still think Nintendo/Camelot should port Mario Tennis Ultra Smash to Switch but this time make it a actual full game.

Gameplay was great, there was just little to do outside of basic tennis matches on generic courts.

I just hope we get some solid third party announcements. I know first party content is coming, so that can be revealed whenever. I don't even care if much of it consists of late ports. I'd love to play some PS360 games with cleaned up performance portably.

Tomb Raider, Bioshock Collection, RE0-6, Borderlands, Fallout 3/NV would be instant purchases for me at even $50.

It would actually give me the time to play/complete many of these. I own most of the stuff listed, but only completed Bioshock 1/2.

About Luigi Mansion 2, I do feel like they were "forced" to make small gameplay sections because of the 3DS (and handheld gaming format) so I'd be curious to see what they can do on a console.
I didn't like it as much as 1 but it still was a pretty good game.

That's a neat setup for sure! I really wonder what they are going with in 3. 2 sold over 5 million copies so 3 is kinda inevitable. Would totally play your version if the castle is spooky enough lol. Would also make for a nice variety of scenes/settings.

This is pretty much what I want from 3rd parties, but $50 is a big ask for anything that isn't a collection.

Super Smash Bros Brawl was almost a port of Melee with online added. Sakurai has also stated that he believes Smash Bros has reached its ideal form with 4. Sakurai is not even guaranteed to want to do another full on Smash again. Its not impossible to think they may just build upon 4
