Instead you're the one that actually hides behind your vague words and unknown meanings.
I don't want a "safe space", I just want to know what you're actually really want to say without hiding behind your layered wording. It's a "safe space" because as of now, politics can't be talked about, so any social issues within gaming are basically off limits, as well as anything political in real life.
Because whenever someone is called out for doing what you're doing, they do exactly what you did, complain without actually explaining what you mean.

By SJW I mean....that's a pretty widely used term these days, and I would argue most people know exactly what I am talking about.
By dissenting views...I mean views that are opposite of the main opinion of a particular thread, like if it is a "Trump sucks" thread, people who like Trump would dissent. They could be argued with, but not just called names or banned.

It's no coincidence though, most of them are pretty comfortable with their quality of life so challenging the class system isn't really in their interest. In fact it's in their interest to not even understand it, or understand what leftism actually is, which is why I think there is so much hostility to debate here. Get them to engage even for a few minutes and they realise how quickly their superficial understanding of society falls apart. So many little emperors that can't bear to realise they're wearing no clothes.
I'm not trying to justify that part of it. I'm NOT saying it's acceptable to walk into a shower naked with someone who has a boyfriend. I'm saying that I don't think it's an extremely serious crime.
I'm disagreeing more with the people who are trying to pitch what happened as on par with serious rape, sexual assault etc.
If he had carried on despite her rejecting his advances, and perhaps got physical then that would be a completely different level.
What it boils down to is I think some people are overreacting. It's like the ass grab, I'm not saying it's ok, simply that it wasn't the "rape crime" some were trying to portray it as at the time.
Here's an example for you, someone walks into a shop and steals some sweets, it's wrong right. But some people put that on par with armed robbery and stealing large amounts of cash.
I guess censorship and elimination through bans of people that you won't agree are ok with some folks.

No, we don't. SJW is a general term used to describe such a wide array of any left leaning issue that I don't know what you mean, so instead of hiding behind such a general term I want to know what you actually want to say.
Because the moment you say SJW I make assumptions, and if I say something that is actually what you think but is damning to your image, you can easily deflect by proclaiming you never said anything about that because all you said is "SJW".

Attempting to swipe under the rug any and all political threads and opinions is going to alienate a very large chunk of gaffers, aka a community that was attracted by certain political idea in the first place, even if they never touched poligaf with a 10-foot pole.
For the naives who rejoice from this change, remember that entertainment is politics, even if you choose not to see it.
I'm afraid that the exodus will turn this site into a new gamefaqs. If I start seeing a shift in the quality and the tone of the discourse, I'll join the ranks of the leavers.
