Yes, I have seen there is a thread for those claims. I will try, but first I will need to be in. Not on discord or any of that; I will join when regular sign-up opens. I see that now you can try to sing-up but need some type of code.

And if I cannot get it back I will just use a new one, no big deal for me. In the end it is a somewhat common word for a nick, so no impersonation can be claimed.

Indeed, I have seen it. And yes, common word as I was replying to the other quote. In the end I have been here 12 years but mostly just reading all the time, little contribution. So no big forum personality to claim.

Recent revelations (not talking about shower incident specifically), may have lowered my estimation of Evilore as a person, but the fact remains, under his oversight this place has been a good place for people of minority status like me. Neogaf is the only gaming forum I know of, where I can feel safe from casual racism / islamaphobic slurs.
For that at least he and the mod team deserves credit and as long as it stays that way I am still going to lurk / post in this place along with that reset thingy forum .

What you're doing, though, is pretty much a textbook example of attacking a strawman. You are misrepresenting the person's argument and attacking it. You're attacking something that no one said (or at least not the person you are attributing the argument to).

Open registration will be open soon.
If you don't get an invite for the initial phases don't fret.

Invites are no longer an option as far as I can tell.

They fucked up the last wave of invites and now even I couldn't get in. I'll stick with GAF now because there isn't a chance in hell that I'll ever get access to a paid email address again.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the people who contributed to this forum and the mods who kept this place the best gaming forum on the web for the past years.

It saddens me that this is my last post on GAF - I have been a member here for over 4 years and this was my go-to place for all my gaming and non-gaming news. A week ago I couldn't fathom not logging onto GAF to check on the latest threads and lively communities. I was ready to jump on Hype Train for Xbox X launch debates and PS Experience in December craziness.

However, the reality kicks in and it's clear to me that time has come to move on. For those who stay here, I wish you all to remain calm, positive, inclusive and have great discussions. I, personally, can't stay, because of the way these recent events unfolded. I'm going to join the you-know-which alternative place, without the baggage, without the stain, with renewed energy which seems to have left this place since it was reopened (and for good reason I must admit). Maybe I'll see some of you there.

Bye GAF, thank you for the memories.

Your reaction is the reason people have hated OT discussion for some time. You even went to the extreme by stating that all conservatives believe what you wrote (whining about calling people the n word and marginalizing minorities), which is patently false.
