Has anyone claimed the rights to make each OT yet? I think Dead is going to make the E7AO one, and I believe someone said 7th was going to do AKB0048? I'm claiming Kids on the Slope for myself, unless someone else claimed it earlier. I wouldn't mind doing Lupin either, unless someone else wants it. Maybe 7th is doing Saint Seiya Omega too? Not sure.

For Fate/Zero, we should just continue to reuse the existing OT, since it's a returning series.

These episodes from the upcoming season are pretty much confirmed to have relatively outstanding action sequences. But that's not all, there are also other possibly worthwhile shows which probably won't have action in them coming next week:

April 1 - Space Brothers
April 5 - Natsuiro Kiseki
April 7 - Mysterious Girlfriend X

And this is just the start! There'll be more shows coming in the following weeks! The Spring 2012 Thread better be up before April 1!

Those are the shows which will definitely have action in the first episode, and with staff which can back it up. Action animators in particular.

...am always fully prepared for watching Precure. Except I've not seen the Suite movie yet. Or Suite TV after about episode 18, come to think of it.

Actually, I've not been watching fansubs at all since the start of this season, thanks to a combination of game releases, streaming stuff and having way too much anime backlogged on disk media to chew through. I can't say I've particularly missed them either, but Smile Precure is the one bandwagon I've been sorely tempted to jump on.

Okay, you got me, I'm bitter If the Cures had been defeated, it might have been my fault for not having a light when light was needed. I couldn't live with that kind of guilt.

Just skip the rest of Suite, it ends up being pretty bad. However, the Smile club is always looking for new recruits. It's had explosive popularity for a very good reason.

I think it's just an original character but the artist is huke who is responsible for the creation of Black Rock Shooter and worked on the Steins;Gate VN.

What did you expect beyond "fat nerd with self-esteem issues who is THE CHOSEN ONE"? I'd be surprised if he had any kind of characterisation at all, given how clearly such a character is meant to be a Marty Stu.

I kind of want to try Accel World in spite of it being turrible, but I don't think I'll ever be able to get past the design of the main character. It's cool that there's a fat protagonist, but it feels like the mangaka decided on this first, realized he didn't actually know how to draw fat people, and just decided to make him some kind of cartoony cherub comprised entirely of circles. He's like some kind of comic relief chibi thrown into a series with normal character design.

I kind of want to try Accel World because I've liked Obara's other shows. Kind of wish they were doing another Sunrise original work, though.
