Seinfeld was great in it's day but, like most comedy, is doesn't age well. Friends was never good.

i understand people saying they don't like Seinfeld, but cmon, 'unfunniest' sitcom of all time?
I don't care for Jerry, and the standup is terrible so what, George Costanza is the most entertaining character I can think of. I don't like him, sure, but that's kinda the point isn't it? These are characters that are completely neurotic; maybe not meant to be liked and sympathized with, but that's why I find it funny.
George is so prone to lying and is so petty about everything in his life, and the way he goes about solving problems (stealing clocks, pretending to be handicapped for bathroom privileges, candy line-up, etc.etc.etc.) is comedic gold.
Friends is good too, but Seinfeld is in a league of its own.

Also, liking Curb Your Enthusiasm but disliking Seinfeld is an oxymoron. Seinfeld is the PG version of Curb Your Enthusiasm. What, does your humor need to be "mature" and "edgy" to be funny?
OP, instead of berating you like I want to i'll give you a tip. Skip ahead to season 3. Seinfeld had a run from season 3 to season 7 that no modern sitcom will ever be able to touch IMO. If you watch Season 3 and 4 and still do not think it's funny, well then you have no soul.

Seinfeld and Curb have the same exact sense of humor, dealing with very similar themes, from basically the same creative team. I can't make any sense of thinking one is good and one is bad. I completely understand liking one over the other (I think I'm more of a Curb guy) but it's like saying I liked Louis CK's act from 3 years ago but his new act is the worst stand up comedy ever.

Why has there been almost no mention of the fact that he's only on season 3? While I would even say season three is great, some people have to reach 4 or 5 to really love the show. If at that point you hate it. Well then you're just dumb.

Yes, because the only reason that anyone who likes Curb but dislikes Seinfeld is because Curb is so god-damned "edgy" and "mature." I've watched the G-rated, edited version of Curb on the TV Guide channel and I've still found it more entertaining than Seinfeld.
I am on Season 3. I started there because I wanted to get to the good stuff without wading through the growing pains. I'm 16 episodes in.

I actually don't know about most funny, but my favorite are probably Modern Family, 30 Rock, and somewhere after that Always Sunny.

If what you are saying is correct, you have seen the following episodes:
The Pen
The Parking Garage
The Red Dot
The Suicide
and you dont think the show is funny? No hope for you my friend. Also the next two episodes might be the best episodes of the show ("The Boyfriend Part One and Two")
No show has aged better than Seinfeld imo

I wonder why Friends people and Seinfeld people are always at each others throats. They were really the two main sitcoms I watched way back then, I love both of them. Can't we all just get along.

I didn't say it wasn't funny. I said Americans can't understand it (what they were saying, not the humor) and I proved it in that thread. I pointed out one of the first lines of the show and the British people couldn't understand it either.

I'm not trying to pick at people in general with this opinion (I'm being on the offensive here because of the troll-baiting, hyperbolic OP), but to me (someone who has watched each episode of each series countless amounts of times) it's like someone on the gaming-side saying "I hated Super Mario Galaxy, but I loved Super Mario Galaxy 2". It just doesn't make sense.
I would love to hear your detailed opinion on why Seinfeld is not funny while CYE is.
If every instinct you have is wrong, the OPPOSITE, would have to be right!
