Eating crow on Destiny. Looks great. Controller looks great. Hardware specs looks great. If there's Vita streaming, I'm in unless Microsoft blow my socks off.

Predicted it was called PS4, predicted a new Killzone, predicted PS3 games streaming, predicted the leaked controller was close to the final one, predicted Diablo 3 and Destiny.

Did not predict 8 GB GDDR5 RAM, did not predict Infamous spinoff, Drive Club, or that new SCE Japan Studio game.

Eating crow when it comes to no new MM game, no new Quantic Dream game, no new Gran Turismo game, Kaz Hirai not being there, and no reveal of the hardware itself.

I have to eat a crow on the ram as well. I never expected the console developers to go pass 2 gb for the next generation.

However, I will gladly eat this crow too.

You know, maybe those PE's ARE coming... but when those processes are small enough to do them on? They'll just put them in even smaller PS3's (for emerging markets) and those gaikai servers... Otherwise.. the costs would be nuts for those 45nm cells...

Killzone 4 looks close to matching the visual style of Crysis 3.

But one look at the PC version of Crysis 3 at the highest settings still gives CryEngine 3 the edge. I'm looking forward to a high end port of Crysis 3 on PS4 though.

I thought RaD would show off their game, TLG would make an appearance, and that Japan Studios wouldn't be making anything else for the PS4 this early.

I'm still baffled by 8gb GDDR5 to be honest.

It's like Kutaragi is sending a gift from the heavens, doesn't really feel sensible or even that needed, but amazing.

Nothing surprised me. Actually the only thing that surprised me is how damn accurate all the leaks were. 8gb GDDR5? WAHAA??A?A

Haha! Where the hell have you been? Plenty people with "sources' and the "bu bu bu PC is better than consoles" crowd denied the dogs shit out of PS4 getting anything but 4GB of RAM.

I didn't really have any expectations, but I was surprised they talked as much about the Vita as they did.

Was starting to hope for a big Vita price drop at one point (maybe a crazy Vita+PS4 bundle), but nope. ...at least not yet.

There was one poster (I forgot who, sorry) that mentioned the possibility of repurposing 8gb dev kits into retail form without delaying and going back to R&D. I was surprised many people glossed over that post.

I am happy to see so many people eating RAM crow. Many people told me that it wouldn't have 8 Gigs of ram a while back. I'm very glad it does. That's what it really needs, and GDDR5 if the kind of over kill I can get behind.

I expected rad hardware, a slick OS, and Sony to double down on their (IMO) tired PS3 direction of software, so I think I nailed it.

My only surprise is that we saw an Infamous instead of an Uncharted.

I suppose it still could be. At the Sony conference they just hinted at exclusive content. Maybe MS gets it a bit early, or something else, though I doubt it.

There are still many studios un-accounted for. And GG still have a new IP they have been working on.

I, along with many others were led by others (namely thuway, proelite, stevieP and BruceleeRoy.. who I sympathize with) to believe in the 4GB RAM figure. And honestly, we'd have been more than happy to see it realized instead of 2GB as was shown in the first leak.

Pertaining to Destiny, I remember being constantly barraged by members here who would bring up the court document granting MS (timed) exclusivity to it.

So yea, some people have to eat their crows.

I am not too sure about that. I thought it looked better than Crysis 3 on PC even in its unfinished state.
