Those bouncy castle physics, more realistic than a DOA game
Bend too far and you're already Shacknews.
Wu-Tang is for the children
I would rather they use that money to buy the Banjo IP than fund a sonic game. But I'm sure they could make a great platformer with either.
So would I, but I don't think it's likely at all. :'(
I think Nintendo publishing a Sonic game is much more likely honestly.
You know sorta back to the Sonic topic in relation, but how come so far Nintendo was willing to foot the bill and publish a Lego game, before a Sonic game?
Hell Reggie's words at E3 2011 mirror the case for Sonic, he said that at the time Lego games sold 60 million total in NA and EU IIRC, and more than half of those were on Nintendo platforms.
Sonic gaming-wise is much more associated with Nintendo nowadays than any other platform and the numbers show, and previous collabs with the Olympics and Brawl.
About time Sonic got the Lego City treatment, and as I said, Sonic Adventure 3 is the game to do it; the sequel to the games that Nintendo fans were introduced to when Sonic arrived on Nintendo platforms for the first time.
Hopefully Nintendo agrees on the idea.
An alternative is getting the creators (already have Yasuhara at NST) to work on a reboot of sorts with EAD Tokyo, who are probably the best platforming devs on the planet right now.
Yeah sadly too late, looks great but now I know PS4 is a must buy saving up for that
Great to see current Wii u owners have some quality releases soon though
Now release X and maybe that changes my mind
I agree I had sonic adventure 1&2 on dreamcast got a cube and sega went third party and put it on gamecube. I was so surprised and just left thinking woww they gonna make a sonic adventure 3 on gamecube I know it. Sadly we still dont see this game. You know sorta back to the Sonic topic in relation, but how come so far Nintendo was willing to foot the bill and publish a Lego game, before a Sonic game?

Yeah I'd love to see a brand new take on sonic, a bare bones 3d reboot to nail the gameplay. I think Nintendo could balance the sense of speed, interactive platforming, and level/environment design. Camera control could be tough. But the more I think about this it would be cooler than Banjo since Banjo is a slightly different 3d Mario (even though I love the world and characters). Nintendo Sonic could be something new altogether. So would I, but I don't think it's likely at all. :'(

Any word if its playable via the pro controller?
SOLD.
The game looks really interesting but I don't see it as moving the needle much on the Wii U in the next month. If anything, it will be an interesting study to see if the Lego IP is a brand that can stand on it's own without HarryPotter/Star Wars/DC/Marvel attached to it.
SOLD.
I know you're talking Lego as in videogames specifically, but it is somewhat amusing that essentially what your question boils down to is "I wonder if Lego really is popular?"
I mean, its not like Harry Potter, Star Wars or DC and Marvel were what gave Lego their big break back in the day.
In video games specifically I meant.
The tearing seems to be gone, the framerate looked very stable in the recent gameplay video and it looked to me like the pop in was greatly reduced as well.I havent been following this recently but did they ever fix the apparent aliasing and graphical issues that were present at E3?
"The best way to brick your console"
i wonder if it would make people think that the thing actually breaks wiiUs....
Based on this thread I almost think it should be

Thanx. The cutscenes look great, but the gamplay really lacks some AA. Is the game fully finished or is there still time to use some AA?
In the recent Gamesport gameplay video they said the WiiU Version is finished. I guess it would also be submitted by this point since it'll come out in a few weeks.
Especially since you can post screens from within the game. Really awesome feature.Something tells me this game will have a thriving Miiverse community.

Haven't seen that quantity of aliasing since VF4 on the PS2.

About the screenshot, I have the feeling it is from an older version of the game, since I remember havin it seen ages ago. At least I hope so.

I remember this screen, it was sent(with other) after the E3 nintendo presse conference 2012. But I hope they've add AA in the final build.
