15 days after the EU release for me. Part of why I'm insisting on getting it on release day.

...That and I'm getting the limited edition 3DS XL.

Added the above. (Me: 1332-7921-3652) I'm not particular about time zones either. I'm on the East Coast in the US but I keep strange hours (although I understand if people want to stick close to home).

3DS XL question: Is the improved battery as good as they say compared to the original?

Somewhat off topic but I sold og 3ds for ac xl. Obviously I didn't do a system transfer but if I login when I get the xl will the few gaf friends I had on still show up or no?

As for your question about the XL: The battery life jump is pretty sweet, though it still depends on your preferred brightness level and 3D usage.

There are extended battery packs readily available for either one though if you're interested. I had the Nyko PowerPak+ for the original 3DS which improved it's grip and now have a Mugen Battery for my XL. All day normal brightness, 12 hours or so max brightness and 3D.

(Mugen Battery is pretty expensive though =P )

Animal Crossing is really the one true blue ocean title I think Nintendo has. They have a lot of things that might kind of attract people, but AC just rakes in money from people who wouldn't normally buy games.

Thanks for the links. Can't watch Twitch LIVE here at work, and even then the chat doesn't work. So I can at least catch up with these. =)

It's always nice to see that amongst all the AAA games and shooters there's still certain games that come ploughing back through the charts. I was honestly surprised to see Luigi's Mansion 2 do so well in the UK and for so long.

I still cannot believe that the XBone is even on that list. I guarantee that 90% of those that have preordered for that price are actually willing to pay it.

It blows my mind that anyone would want a console that doesn't even have Animal Crossing.
