Like I said in the Sony presser thread, this is too amazing to be true. It has to be fake. I can't believe Sony and From would team up again like that after From walked out on them.

But holy fucking hell...this could be what actually sells me on a PS4, if it's real.
If Versus doesn't do it already, that is...

Oh man, I thought it would be a Vita game :(

Perhaps a lot of retail PS4 games will get cross-buy too with Vita?

Where did you find this exactly? Because what type of document would this be?

Destiny of Spirits sounds cliched. They should have called it Density of Spirits or put simply Demons Souls 2. This could very well turn out to be the project which Hidetaka Miyazaki may be involved with.

That sounds like it might coincide with Square Enix's consolidation of positions within North America. If you cross-reference the dates of when that affair went public and the tweet you posted, that might be the explanation.

I can totally do with "Demon's Souls 2: Destiny of Spirits" as a name.

PS4/PSVita exclusive please, cross play.

Also would love some sort of game save transfer mechanic with npc's from the first game returning/not returning. But I'm just dreaming at this point.

Would be literally E3 of the universe if true.

If this is a FROM game, there's no way it's on PS4, right? Unless they're a way bigger studio than I knew, I would think all their efforts would be on DSII, and there's no way they'd have a PS4-calibur title ready to show already. Even having a Vita game ready seems like stretch.

I'm probably wrong but I'm hoping this is SSM's WRPG.

Everything I've heard is that SSM's new game is a shooter, not an RPG. So that's probably not what this is either.

Damn it, the confusion is more nerve-wracking than anything else. :[

sony helped them with demons souls ps3 development.

they probably are helping them with ps4 development too

Would also make more sense of their inclusion in this picture from the Feb event, especially since Dark Souls 2 is a PS3 game and not PS4.

the description above it is interesting too "adventures grouped with friends or solo".
which upcoming ps4 title fits into this description?

Tantalizing. This would go a long way toward selling me on a PS4 if true.

What is small about From Software? They work on every single platform, and nearly always have two plus games in development

SSM isn't making a WRPG lol. They are making a shooter.

hmmm. the name "Destiny of Spirits" does sound like something Japanese developed for some reason... and it does sound like something FROM would come up with. everyone thought "demon's souls" was a terrible name too (because of that extra s and whatnot).

If true ... I just... I can't even -hnnnng

If that's true, I'm not surprised Sony is going for From's next game. I'm sure they really regret letting the Souls series go. They can't really go back to Demon's Souls because people will always be question why it exists when Dark Souls is out there on every platform.
