All i can say is with rose tinted glasses firmly on, i don't remember Geass being this retarded. Well the first season at least.

Drama? you mean a live action version? Didn't know there was one.

What makes it superior?

Yeah live action.
The cast, the humor, everything is perfect imo and it really captures the spirit of the manga, more than the anime for some reason. Maybe it's just me... But again, a lot of people really enjoyed the drama. It's worth watching.

Geass always had the stupid on, it just took longer for it to play its hand whereas VVV goes all out strait off the bat. The other thing is that Geass actually is built on a solid foundation besides the crazy.

I havent really seen Valvrave yet so I cant comment on how crazy it gets and how quickly it gets there, but Geass was just built in a way that you could sense the foreboding insanity as it was happening, but by the time the full realization occurred, it had already fully absorbed your attention. It was masterful execution.

Plus the instrument playing isn't a bunch of stills and awful CG!

I agree that the drama is worth watching. I haven't read the manga, but I enjoyed the drama. Plus drama Chiaki looks way better than anime Chiaki. :D

Hey to be fair i did say first season and with rose tinted glasses no less! If this had at least one interesting character it wouldn't be so bad but alas as of episode 6 it doesn't.

That's the the thing i don't mind a bit of craziness as long it has other things to support that. Geass was always interesting to me and i enjoyed the characters.

Now then, I am dragging my sister into the world of anime because I am a horrible person for sharing my hobby with my sister, on top of being a terrible waste of a human being, so I gave her a choice of what I can give her right now and she picked

Her own choice
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (This shocked me)
Squid Girl

A bit of convincing
Precure (She chose Fresh Precure and Splash Star on her own choice though)
Little Witch Academia (because it's just 1 episode)

Forced
Heartcatch
Azumanga Daioh (she was scared of entering Highschool)

Now then, I'm actually considering throwing in Madoka Magica as well in the near future just to increase my terribleness right now. Any future choices for a 14 year old?
K-ON! should be on this list. Madoka should not be on this list.

- Coppelion, the manga about a special team investigating a distress signal from a post-nuclear meltdown Tokyo whose anime adaptation was put on hold after Fukushima, will finally be coming out as a TV show this fall. The first episode will be screened at Japan Expo and Anime Expo. Haruka Tomatsu, Kana Hanazawa, and Satomi Akesaka will be playing the main trio.

- A fall 2013 Kyousogiga TV series was briefly listed on producer Hiromi Seki's profile before being taken off. Could it be?

I took a break from Utena after finishing the first arc, but now I'm back in the game. The Black Rose arc is heating up, but first, a quick decent into madness.

Utena, la fillette révolutionnaire 16

Because I got a fever, and the only cure...

...is more Nanami episodes!

This episode, man. This fucking episode! I thought it would be hard to top the episode where Nanami goes to Africa, but man! The dream sequence, and then Touga eating the steak! The "duel" at the end. :O Plus the shadow girls just spontaneously appearing wherever the fuck now. :O :O

Hayate no gotoku Cuties - 12

Few words can accurately convey how BORED i was during the last 2 eps.
The whole premise was forced , badly done and while the content of the story was alright , the setting was not properly used with lots of unnecessary flashbacks in a attempt to make the viewer guess , when anyone with a brain would have figured the solution within second , if you pay attention to the voice , the powers used and the numerous hints.

In short it felt like a giant attempt to waste my time with filler and it's a shame since the idea at first wasn't bad, it only felt like huge missed opportunity and i probably will be able to forget easily.

Release ! The unlimited !

Despite this screen above don't be fooled, the last 2 episode being original stories were quite void of references and felt flat .

Overall , the "cuties" season , despite this lackluster end , wasn't that bad , in most cases they followed the manga properly ( despite the giant mess they did by skipping the Athena & greek arc ) and it works in most cases a giant pool of fanservice and no way in hell to see any kind of conclusion here.

I'd give it : 7/10

My first question when seeing ANN today: Why is Shinbo doing Nisekoi?

Ugh, I'm not sure if I want. This doesn't seem like a good fit. Maybe because of that, I might actually watch the show now.

So does anyone know who is doing Coppelion? This wasn't on my radar but the premise is interesting, although stupid.

Kotori did take a giant step forward at the end, but Kurumi is just so incredible and Tohka is just soooo cute. THen you got Reine with her baggy tired eyes and sloppy hair and adorable Yoshino... Its so hard to rank them all. But Origami is definitely last by the end.
