Does the 3DS let you suspend the game and do something else, like surf the internet or launch another game? Or is it like the DS and you can only suspend and then resume the game?

There's a software suspend that lets you pause the game to open a rudimentary browser (to search a hint, maybe), besides the DS-like hardware suspend.

Tried it just now and if you press the Home button while a game is running you're back to the main menu and can for example start the browser while the game stays in the background.

nVidia started to give away free games?

Yup, They have done

Borderlands 2, Metro Last Light, AC3, AC2/1, Batman AC and AO, Planetside 2/ WoT / Warframe free $
It's suppose to be WW, you just need to ask the retailer. Most email the codes. Hell I ordered my 780 a few weeks before the new Batman Promo and they said to contact them for a free key.

God bless all my old friends/And god bless me too, why pretend?
Oh god I want Wizardry 8 so bad! Why did I blow my budget on that A10 simulator yesterday??

Nice to see the second area of Amnesia trades the smurf blue filter for a swamp green one. Game itself is quite atmospheric so far, although not much has happened. Interested to see where it goes with the Mexican fever business. Taking a break to go through Gone Home which I just grabbed.

I got scammed

Never trust a seller, even if he has a good rep

never ever

I'm going to fucking bed now.....

Jeez, what happened? In any case, sorry! I try to stick to gaf sellers or people I know to avoid potential issues or at the least have the feeling of a safety net.

Edit: Saw the post you made above that one. Not your highest moment it seems.

Im assuming he was gifted SR4 for the Marajuana Icon but SR4 is region locked so he can't use it. Just my guess.

I'm a idiot and I had a bad day and I wanted to have SRIV on my computer. I fell for it and even worked with the dude for an hour on the trade and I fell for it like an idiot....

I'm not happy and I've learned from this

So the Incognita pre-order only has one key for alpha/beta access and one key only for the released game.

I wonder why they did that. With Don't Starve, both keys were active for the beta.

Sorry Cheddaz :(

Add me on steam to talk or PM, there are various ways we can deal with it. Assuming its all in the chat log we can get your games back.

If you PM me his name I can try and deal with it myself. Or atleast create a fake trade to see if he tries to scam me to help get a steam trade ban.

Im guessing they didn't want people to go hald and half?
But that seems odd since they've done it before.

Also sucks to hear it Cheddaz happens to the best of us.

Sorry to hear that man, hope you'll get it sort out.

In any case I think SR4 steam keys will be popping up pretty cheap soon since it's now one of the bundle games for AMD GPU.

Thanks :). That has me leaning more towards 'yay'. Perhaps I need the intervention of our resident F.E.A.R. fanboy to push me over the edge?

:p
Did someone call me? If you're thinking about getting them, you're doing it wrong already. F.E.A.R. is one of my favorite games of all time, and though some people found it boring (there are like only 3 different locations, and not much variety in the enemy department), to me it's a masterpiece. Amazing AI, fantastic level design, best shooting mechanics ever, cool-as-fuck slow-mo, very interesting plot and great graphics (I still think it holds up perfectly well).

The expansions are great too, and the sequel is excellent. Sadly they never made a third game, but maybe that's for the best.

Already running for around 25-30 dollars on ebay.
Value wise the best deal would be grabbing SR4,DMC, and Far Cry 3 (Though I think it's Uplay) because my blood dragon was.

Going by the VG247 article on the Alpha. I'm assuming they confirmed this statement.

Update: Only one of the copies of the game includes an alpha code, the other will be presented upon release.

Then I reread the fine print on Klein's website.

By pre-ordering Incognita you’ll also get access to all future Alpha and Beta builds as well as a copy of the final released game. Keeping this in mind, we’d love to hear your thoughts on the game as we work towards release in 2014!

Seems verified by their fine print, I hope in reality this isn't the case though.

Did both of your copies activate on Steam? Are they both playable?
I'm hoping your experience differs from what Klei have said and what VG246 have reported.

That's actually how he tricked me

Ah, the old steam key scam. And are you sure it's really the good rep trader? There's a few impersonator scammer out there.

If you have the time and screenshots to prove it report the scammer to steamrep.com, won't get you your :weed: back but at least he/she will be mark as a scammer on that site.

have you people decided what you game on your steam account you will play as a means to decompress from GTA5 sessions yet?

I honestly don't have a clue.
None, because I won't get GTA 5 until it's $5 or so (and on PC, of course). I'm as unexcited (is that a word?) for this one as I was excited for GTA IV.

On another note, I'm interested in getting Tomb Raider from the Amazon Squeenix bundle. I'm willing to pay up to $7 for it (including Paypal fees, which wil probably make you get a little over $6). If anyone's interested, please PM me so we can discuss who'll be buying it and stuff.

Hope the Amazon Sqaure Enix bundle lowers the price of some of the Tomb Raider card.
Only need 2 more and don't want to pay more than 22 cents each

You can get your weed back actually, I have been scammed atleast 5 times, everytime, aslong as the chat was through steam and the steam trading inventory was used I was able to get the games back, even if I didn't keep the chat logs. Hence why I quit Game for Game trading.

Maybe they switched it because too many people were abusing the 2-for-17$ thing?

People have ruined the actual trading system as well?
How can they do that? Or is it a case of games being region locked or something?
I've been trading lately for keys, so I don't want to get screwed over.

Just saw this on Facebook, posted by GOG.

I messaged Toma and asked if was able to redeem the key. All I sent him was the Humble link and not long after he posted quick impressions in the September indie thread.

I've had 2 games revoked months after I got them due to credit card chargebacks. One was Black ops 2, which I want to say I got in August or September and didn't get revoked until it released, losing me all the pre order stuff including WaW... If your trading for keys aslong as you aren't going first you are fine, assuming they aren't region locked

Meant to rephrase that. I meant I've been trading keys for games. It's how I grabbed Metro and Resident Evil Revelations. Looks like i'll need to be on my toes now. But thanks for the heads up.

You should be fine, from what I understand the entire trade will be reversed in that situation, meaning you lose the game but you also get the keys back.

TF2 keys for games? Yea keep an eye out, 100% of the time if they are region locked they will say in the description or title. Some games can be region locked like Batman Arkham Origins which just has a RU tag in your library but most aren't like this. Some games can also be region locked AFTER going on the store. My seller bought 10 Castlevanias, All region free, we sell all of them and are just about to buy new ones when we realize they have region locked it due to high RU/BR sales. So watch out, sometimes people won't know, having traded a few before you come along, buy you a copy then boom, its been region locked. Aslong as you have the game in your inventory or library you are fine.

What isn't safe though is things you cannot prove to steam. For example I started trading when I got a bunch of BF3 keys cheap at the local shop (5$) a piece a week after release, store was closing and I still had an employee discount . Bought a bunch. I trade one, user says it works, go on for a week, game he gave me ( Mount and blade ) is no longer in my inventory, turns out he convinced steam it never worked. I had no way to disprove it, because he said I revoked it a few days later.

If the game gets revoked steam will not automatically give you a refund, you must first find out its been revoked and speak to steam. The game must have been through a trade window with the game that was revoked or within a reasonable time frame aswell

Ok will definitely keep an eye out then. Usually I hop into this thread first to check if it's region locked first before grabbing anything. Thanks for the clarified info, the more I know the better I can be at finding possible scams.
