The wooden boardwalk in the PS3 pic has an even blurrier texture than the 360's very blurry texture. That's basically the only difference I saw.
Idiotic, too. It's like the world doesn't already know what GTA is. Half of its fan base will probably be performing vehicle manslaughter to pass time between story missions.

It´s like The Godfather is a bad movie because its moral decisions are hard to understand. Certainly ridiculous.
I can't help but be struck by the fact that Sessler pegged and harped on God of War Ascension for reasons that apparently exist and are amplified in GTAV, and yet he's giving the game a pass for those issues here.
Curious, but the zgod of War shenanigans were a low point for him IMO, so I'm actually happy about this.

Holy crap. The footage in the Gametrailers review makes this look like the best game I've ever seen. The amount of stuff to do is simply ridiculous.

Although I The Escapist opinion is valid, I cannot give any serious credence to a site that gave Dragon Age 2 a perfect score and said it was of the best games of the generation.

Right, right. Totally down play the fact that they pioneered the open world franchise, and have some of the greatest creative minds in gaming.

If you didn't enjoy the game because you can't relate to the characters you are playing why shouldn't you rate it less?
Most good crime dramas, Breaking Bad included, do a lot of work to make you understand the character's motivations and at least let you understand why they are doing the things they do. And if they make an interesting enough character you can be willing to go along with them into the darkness.
But if everyone just starts out as unrelatable shithead villains it can be a pretty hard sell. (I have no idea if the GTA V protags start off as unrelatable shithead villains.)

Mostly written that way. Though at times it really does just go overboard and if there is a subtle aspect to the writing its easy to miss.
What was said most likely applies to both versions. He only played the PS3 version but we all knew this hardware would be limiting for a game of this scope.
No info on 360 version?

It's Ars Technical, it's their job to pick the little things apart. And they are of course going to mention improvements a PC version could make
Both versions have the same issues. Not sure about the 720p point, though.
