Handful of insiders say 720p, Albert says it looks great but has no numbers, CBOAT says 720p (+ Titanfall at 720p), Ben K of PAR says that the internet will blow up soon due to a resolution issue in a big game.

I'm not damage controlling. I was responding to the specific post stating that people who buy this are foolish in supporting an underpowered machine. This is a big deal for a lot of people, sure, and I respect that. But one can't paint every gamer with the same brush.

No, it is actually a metric. And in the context of deciding which system CoD sells better on and is tops on, it's about the only reliable one.

He is the guy behind Duke Nukem, one of its main creators. I dont know if he still works within in the industry, but i imagine he has a lot of contacts since he has been working with games since early 90s.

I'm sure its been mentioned before but none of this will really matter to the casuals. Even when they do comparison videos you wont really see a difference since 99% of the time the bit-rate is shit. Heck even with current generation stuff you lose a ton of detail. I really noticed it with GTA V, I look at videos on youtube and gametrailers and it almost looks like its running on weaker hardware. Everything is blurry as hell.
I'm buying it to finance games and an extra controller for the PS4. Really don't have the time for 2 consoles otherwise I'd keep the One as well.
I just checked now briefly and couldn't find one with a bid (those that I saw were $700+)

But there is no chance of that happening, as said earlier in this thread, COD:G has been demoed on IGN from a PS4 Yesterday running native 1080p.
Scott Lowe from IGN made a big deal about it on twitter.
So we have actual proof along with the PSN store that stats 1080p game along with BF4 as well.

No, it's just the most proper answer he can give and really should have been the avenue Penello took too. Neither is in a position to speak up for a third party's development decisions in any official capacity so they really should just refer the matter to the third party.
