Why do Apple products do so well then?
In general, people who are happy with lower standards don't buy luxury items. Thats why apple has maybe 25% of the smartphone market. It's the top 25% mind you, and they make a shit load of money off them.
Why do Apple products do so well then?
Why do Apple products do so well then?
You're right. You implied that most people buying these new consoles don't care. Sorry I hyperbolized your argument. It still makes no sense. Change my "no one" to "most people" and try to justify your stance, please.
I have to ask. Is that gif a troll or is it serious? Is it bad that I might believe it to be true? LOL
Why do Apple products do so well then?
Is that supposed to be funny?Look at how much less detail there is in the background buildings on the PS4 image. You can almost read the road sign in the background on the XB1 version, not even close on the PS4. Looks like they really cut corners to get to 1080p on PoS4.

Lmfao. Please stop dude. Why do Apple products do so well then?
Oh dear god not this shit again.
I hope you didn't just grant the Xbox Apple-level consumer awareness.
Holy false equivalency, Batman!
lol comparing Microsoft hardware to Apple..
Multiplatform games will sell more and make up the bulk of software sales, even at launch.Heh, so most people won't be buying new consoles simply for games that aren't on current gen?
Yeah, what I said doesn't make any sense.
Heh, he said people with lower standards don't buy more expensive products.
So... Why is bringing up the success of Apple products wrong?
No where in my post did I say that MS has the same level of popularity/consumer awareness as Apple.

There is no doubting there is a difference between the two. The way I see it though is that the average gamer, who plays COD, Madden basically, will follow his friends to the system they want to game on and will give two shits about this. Their decision will be made based off of what their COD, Madden buddies are doing, not this.
I have a Surface Pro; I do not have an iPad, and I still think that.
If everybody follows then who leads?

Come now, Apple's products are best in class no question. Try again.

Yes, Yes they do.
Honestly man sometimes it just seems like you wanna argue for the sake of arguing.
Thing is if one of them cares about this and tells them about all of this and says "PS4 is 100$ cheaper", I do not think that they will be like "no I want to pay 100$ more".

So, "most people" will be buying these titles of far greater brand strength and awareness alongside their new systems.

Been gaming with friends since the inception of Xbox Live. Still gaming with those friends. Most of these multiplats are built for social gaming and social gaming was more of a pleasure on the 360 than it was on the PS3. Thus, despite the resolution I will continue to game on multiplats with friends on the console I'm used to and on the other side, purchase a PS4 for the exclusives.
Its representative.Do people think this is real?
At this point I'm more curious to see if DF does a comparison between X360 and X1 versions of the game. I'm not sure what the differences would be, if any.
I played a lot of ps3 and 1080p pc games on my hdtv. 1080p is awesome, but i didnt have an issues switching back to 720p or sub 720p ps3 games.
Hardcore pc gamers hate lower resolutions, but normal non graphic whore gamers wont have a problem imo

You are missing the point here; these gamers that I described don't care about the price tag..they want to game with the same controller layout, same friends lists, etc. We will obviously have to wait for numbers to come in over time but I just feel that Xbox is still going to have the majority of COD players when it comes to MP.
And, just for the record, the type of "average gamer" you're describing will go for the cheaper one.
No. They simply don't have the same standards as you.

If they are familiar and enjoy the 360 why would that even matter? MS is leading them right into the One. I am saying this because I know a group of friends who are doing this. The PS4 isn't even on their radar; they know nothing of 1080p discussions, nothing of even the reversal by MS during the summer. This group is going to be much larger and more influential than most on here are ready to believe.
