I don't want to derail this thread, but I just don't see how, K:SF is doing everything Ryse does but at a higher resolution. They both look great but KZ edges it in the graphical department.
Yeah, those are 50mbps 30fps direct feed gameplay scenes from the trailers, but not interrupted by montage

Looks fantastic.
Player detail. Combatant details. Environmental details. All better in Ryse. I'm not making this about resolution. That's just dumb to me. I'm talking about how the game actually looks. Mario Galaxy wasn't even in HD yet it looks superior than a great many games that are.

Seeing stuff like this and KZ...I think game's should have options to tone down the gore, especially as games become more and more realistic. The level of violance is getting too OT for me I think. I mean this game is about as gory as Fist of the North Star, but it is becoming fairly standard in games. More difficult to get away with when the visuals are this good. I mean real battles were intense and gory of course, but obviiously there was consequence to your actions that few if any games manage to capture. Not here anyway.
Don't see it. All that you listed look just as good in its own fashion in KZ. Ryse does have the jiggly flesh tech going on though.

I'm sorry, but this game looks fun as hell. Maybe it's my love for good old fashioned hack n' slash and ancient Rome coming out, but I can't expect it to be much more than that.

I agree with that. Those three videos looked great. Yes it's a simple game - but looks like a lot of fun and I expect to enjoy playing through the story. I'll avoid the easiest difficulty setting too.

So here's a thought, if the XB1 can pull off these visuals at 900p. You would think that with the right amount development time and optimization, DICE would have no problem implementing BF4 at 1080p at 60fps.
I realize there is a lot more going in in BF4, especially in the multiplayer, but RYSE is visually stunning and incredible detailed, and looks much better than BF4.

Ryse looks OK, but GOW 3 still beats in almost every aspect, I think GOW 3 even looks better.
I'll wait for the reviews before picking this up because recent previews weren't too encouraging.

At certain glances some of it looks damn near real. As far as the gameplay goes, I think that most are just sick of the good old hack n' slash formula. Which actually looks perfectly fine here. Fortunately for me, I still love the hell out of games like this.

Practically everything else looked fantastic. It isn't hard to find an odd looking glitch here or there, but It does very little to detract from the overall quality of the game, I think.

Well I would say it animates better for sure, and GoW 3 will always look incredible. But in terms of graphics, this is clearly above any current gen game. Maybe aspects of Beyond impress me more, but the visuals on display are very impressive to me.
Of course I expect whatever SSM is cooking up to be more impressive, but this looks damn good.
That was great, I can see the combat being fun even. Hell it is fun from what I played - depends now if it's fun in long stretches.
I don't care what anyone says, that looks fun as hell! I love the multiple person executions. The game looks beautiful!
