Ryse needs a 1.2gb update. Was difficult to work out how to play the Damn thing! Need to install it first.

I'd think skylanders would be your best bet. Never played it myself, but friends with kids have told me their kids love it, and even their wives who don't game thoroughly enjoy it.
I'm really torn between buying a couple of games at retail or going digital.
I love the convenience of having a digital library. I would go full digital if I knew I wouldn't eventually want to trade some games in.
But outside of the convenience I really want new games cases on my shelf. It's a new console, new games , new boxes. I like having those there and watching my collection grow.
I don't see a point in having Dead Rising on a disc because I never traded in any of the other Dead Rising titles. So having it on my hard drive is the best choice for me.
But I actually like the way the case looks.
Man I wish there was a way to buy a physical disc and then install that onto my console and then just put the disc on my shelf. That would be absolute heaven. That would be everything I have ever wanted for this industry.
I wonder if any company will ever be smart enough to implement something like this.

You just drop and charge, those controller cradles are excellent.
I'm sure you can just buy eneloops and use those cradles. Perfect combo.

One thing to look out for Phat. See if the Cutscenes show signs of compression compared to the gameplay. I forgot which website said that the cutscenes have noticeable compression artifacts.
Also comment on the graphics

I knew Ryse was destined for great reviews! The fact that Microsoft gave Ryse its own review day, like Forza, and the fact that its the final one from launch shows that Microsoft has faith in the product and its quality.
