I need to get back to this game asap and take more shots (those are all old)...after finishing ALBW and Mario
On my way to Target to grab a NBSMBU+Luigi bundle. I think they're giving a 25 dollar gift card for doing so. Can't resist anymore. I played some 3D World last night with my sister's kids and it's simply the best game I've played in years. Damn you, Nintendo. I easily resisted the Wii, but not this time.

I take it you never played SMG2?
lolol should of expected it. I hate the gameplay of COD Ghosts, that's the truth. I just think it looks nice.
I have enjoyed it so far which is more than I can say about a lot of games like this. I didn't like Ratchet and Clank but so far, it's pretty good despite the reviews. I guess I could attribute that to the fact that I played Call of Duty Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Killzone and NBA exclusively so far. All FPS pretty well..
That's all for the better now, he can play them on Wii U.

Shame that they are so compressed when using the share button.
I played it. I think 3D World is much better.
Just got back from Target. Was expecting to pay 300 for the console, but by some twist of fate they had a Zelda bundle for 249.99, which they then also gave me a 25 dollar gift card on top of. So after tax I got the Zelda bundle and 3D World for 300. I am pleased. Just gotta endure the patch(es).

How did you manage to fix the gamma issue?? Orchid's hair is one big glob of ink on my tv. I have it set dvi rgb-limited.

I've seen many screens of WWHD's grass and yet here I am, still impressed.
I have it on rgb limited, hdmi(not auto detect) and 24bit color.

I mean those screenshots in this thread already look great but it looks at least 2 times better in motion.
you really have to see it to believe it. tbh I'm surprised that the WiiU with it's "very low"(compared to the other 2 consoles) specs is able to bring something like this on screen and all in glorious 60fps.

I just tried and it didn't change anything. Guess it's up to the developers to use the crappy upscaler or not. Ryse doesn't have this problem.
Well, now I just found out it has a replay mode which is similar to that.

I mean two entirely different levels of SSS, realistic lighting on the pre-rendered, harsher lighting on the realtime model, sizable texturing differences (could be up to filtering differences between the realtime renderer and offline) they barely look like the same assets. A chunk of that is because of the brute force approach of offline rendering. Don't have to worry about render times there. But yes there is a pretty sizable difference if you know what to look for.
Sorry I haven't been here praising the awesome guys. I got Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen for $13 on XBL and have been kind of absorbed.
