The banning means that Flandy will top the wall of fame/shame this month as well

Oh, shi- Just read it. Too bad.

Anyway, will the PS1 classics in Vita have the same graphics issues like the ones persistent in 3D PSP games? Tried playing Ys Seven a while ago and it's like a different game compared when I played it on my PSP.

I've talked with Killa. He says he'll be back here and start double posting as always before than we expect... so there is that.

Sorry about the PS3 @joe2187. We'll pray for her, wherever it is right now :(

It could have been worse. Imagine if your PS3 died while you were playing Ride to Hell: Retribution or something like that... poor thing.

No, PSone games can run in their native resolution where as PSP games are stretched to Vita's.

Welp, some games really look bad when stretched. They should've added an option to keep the original resolution or at least fit it in such a way that the pixels wouldn't be as visible as it is now.

Using buttons in Rayman Legends in the Murphy levels is the quickest way though. I mean, you dont have to take your hand off the controller, so you get very quick back into the game after you have cut some ropes or something (in the game, with Murphy).

It's just baffling they're there in the first place. To break up and minimize such excellent platforming. Talk about fixing what isn't broken.

Really? I've only had positive experiences so far. Granted, I've only tried Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and Persona 3 Portable but both look great on the OLED screen.

Read your post about SS. I can help you as long as I'm available but it's most likely our timezones will never meet, I live in SEA so it's GMT+8. I just resetted my levels so if you want to play, I'll try to meet you in your timezone. Just add me: Zephyx

It didn't work on my PC, but it did on my PS3.

That's good enough for now. Thanks guys.

Try my suggestion though. It was among the last posts in the last page. :)

Which is better, P3P or P3:FES?
FES for first play through, P3P for anything after that.

P3P is better in every way besides losing any in-engine 3D scenes that aren't in the dungeon. Everything is instead presented in visual novel style. They've added a lot of content though, including the female main character who has a slightly different story (Intended to be played after completing the male story). The visual novel style also streamlines the over world so it's a lot quicker to get around and do stuff. Perfect for a second play through.
So helpful.

been meaning to change my wallpapers for awhile now, just too lazy to be bothered.

edit: finally changed my wallpapers and consolidated to two screens.

From that Soul Sacrifice Delta livestream seems like they improve the blankets. You can even combine blankets with a bomb to make it shoot out mortars. They also did something in the beginning of the game where you fight Leviathan with Magusar.

More of that Senran Kagura evemt (NSFW duh...)

I'm of the opinion that the version of P3 you get should be mostly dependent on which system you'd rather play it on. If you want to play a 60+ hour RPG on your Vita, there's no sense playing FES to get the stuff that P3P doesn't have.

So, what's the best way to manage my Vita games using a PS3? Am I right in thinking I can download Vita game to it? How easy/fast is it to transfer games. Does save data be transfered, or does cloud saving eliminate any issues?

Edit: I'm pretty stoned. Is cloud saving even a thing?!

It's only for some games I tried like Ys Seven. I haven't bought P3P on PSN but I doubt it will look bad especially with its pace. Will definitely buy it though when it goes on sale next time.

Haven't tried P3:FES but finished P3P so I cannot say which one is better but why are you asking this? Is it your first time playing P3?

The game was originally made for WiiU only, so i guess that is why its there primarily. I think the use of a button works very well actually.

I do wonder how it works with touch screen in the daily challenges in Murphy's Dungeon though. You have to move quite quick from left to right, so taking the hand away from the controller sounds hard when you have to be fast.

I agree but that's something that was impossible to get from your initial post ;)

If you want it on the Vita, get P3P. It looks stunning on the OLED screen although might be a bit jarring if you're coming from the HDness of P4G.

If you want to play it at home on your PS3, get FES.

It's hard to say if much is lost in the transition to P3P's visual novel style since it's the third time I've played through the game, but I do feel like some scenes lose their impact.

Well, sorry to be a waste of your time then. :( Most likely a driver issue the way I see it. Try to turn off the USB Power Supply option in the settings and reconnect as my last suggestion.

Ok, thanks a lot btw. I'll try it as soon as I finish restoring the Vita's memory.

If you've never played P3, it's P3 FES.

P3P cuts out a ton of content including The Answer. I don't recommend it for a first play through.
P3P adds more than it cuts. But I would still recommend FES for a first time, then FeMC P3P for second. The major drawback for most being that you can't directly control party members in FES. I didn't mind this, many do.

The Answer wasn't really worth the time invested IMO. YouTube or Wiki it.

When i pick one, yes

so far ive gotten all the answers

Go for P3:FES if it's your first time then P3P for the additional content especially the FeMC. Some recommend P3P for the first time due to it's VN-ish story telling being a turn off if you prefer it as your second option but I think it's not as detrimental as they say (Haven't played P3:FES though so take my opinion lightly).

I wasn't sure if we'd ever see you again :D You weren't very spefiic yesterday when you said "I'm out". Wasn't sure if that meant you were going to bail from the thread forever or just the day lol

Nah, I meant only for that time, I had something to do :)

I'm still around, at least until VitaGAF is completely buried by the avalanche.

Which is better, P3P or P3:FES?

1st time? P3: FES all the way for the full impact of the story/atmosphere.

Well, it's really grindy, that's true, but nothing beats experiencing/completing the story yourself instead of just YouTube-ing it. But that's just me.

Buried by the avalanche? This thread is still 95% VitaGAF as far as I can tell.

Well if this page is any indication, nothing has changed.
We are doomed to read the persona3 debate forever

Hahaha, sorry for the overly dramatic language there.

Well, at least if VitaGAF is still around I am still around. But it's not a stretch I think to say that sooner or later when PS4 is gaining steam, and it will, then this topic will not be the same anymore.

Amazon's finally shipping out the 16GB memory card I ordered for $20 soon. I'll finally be able to have DJMTT on my Vita at all times.
