Can't help but be kinda disappointed she isn't playable.
Also. From the amount of fanart. She seems to be the most popular Wario ware character.
So I don't think Mona or others from Wario Ware have much of a chance to be playable if she isn't. Ah well. Sakurai might surprise us.

Yeah, whatever the character would end up being, Unite Morphs have got to be a part of it. There's one really awesome move set that someone made that I found that combines the main Wonderful Ones into one character, and it would the absolute best thing ever if something like this ended up happening: http://smashboards.com/threads/wond...derful-101-thread.327878/page-6#post-16118423

I don't think people want more switching characters, also that move set is too huge and complicated for Smash.
If they do something like that it would be more reasonable to cut Yellow, White and Black and simply map the transformations to the four directions.

I wonder if changing weapons based on the last used B attack used would work. This way you can switch the A attacks but the B attacks will always stay the same, also you wouldn't take out one B move.

Never played a WarioWare title, so who is Ashley and why is she so significant in that she earned an Assist Trophy?

What could she potentially do?

She isn't really, it's just that Japan likes whatever trope Ashley is.
She can do magic things I guess.

I'd recommend the original WarioWare and Smooth Moves.

That game is like the bible of touch imput games. Probably one of the most influencial games in recent memory.

I dont think she is a AT cause she isnt significant enough, AT mostly relegated to characters that sakurai just couldnt find a complete moveset for, or and I think I read this somewhere, probably an interview, that sakurai didnt have time to add some characters and so made them AT, afteralll issac from the goldensun series was a AT, when there really isnt much of a reason why he was just a AT

lol @ people saying they are quitting following Smash because of this news. You should be glad she's an assist trophy she's getting some form of rep in the game. When Ridley is confirmed an assist trophy SmashGAF will melt down because he'll be too big to fit into the capsule but whatever. You just gotta accept Sakurai's decision and have faith.

It's the sequel to Mario Paint I always wanted.

Hopefully the sequel will allow for games with button inputs. Despite that I feel its simplicity was necessary. Overwhelming the players with too many concepts can drain the fun from content creation.

Ah okay. Yeah, managing them through DS or the Wii was a little complicated. It's really cool they let players "port" their games to Wii at all.

Seeing as Wii U has the most options I want DIY2 to end up there. And maybe they can include 3D games and let users paint models, if not actually creating them. The unwrapped cube icon in the sprite editor was a cruel tease.

What's kind of funny is that perhaps the three most requested newcomers in the West -- Little Mac, Ridley, and King K. Rool -- are among the least discussed characters in Japan. There's very little interest for those three over there.

One character that is not only deserving and has a fanbase, but would be one of best representations of nintendo period

I think 9-Volt could be really fun. What if his move set utilised him wielding different Nintendo peripherals, and his special moves incorporated retro sprites and SFX and stuff? He could also use his skateboard as well.

I doubt that'd happen, especially since I'm sure Ashley was the fan-favourite WW character anyway, but no character is really more important than another. I thought Kat and Ana would be a fun tag-team, but Ashley seemed more realistic, and now she's confirmed I doubt we'll see any other WW reps.

Her model looks adorable though. I have every other WW game except Game & Wario because I think they got rid of the Microgames in that one. Maybe I'll pick it up when it's cheap

So apparently there was a supposed leak a while back that had Ashley as an assist trophy. I've gone through it, and while there are some things that I don't like, there is nothing that seems especially unbelievable. Except it has fucking K. Rool, which is craziness.

Yeah but it's pretty dumb of them to think Nintendo didn't own Donkey Kong when his first game appeared in 1981 whereas DKC was released in 1994.

Aside from things like Mega Man and HD Graphics, not really. They're all great games. I'm sure there'll be something revealed to make it stand out. There's also the likelihood that this will feature proper Online Play.

That leak is an odd one. Diddy being the next reveal to tie in with TroFreeze was kind of obvious. The Dixie part however isn't. It'll likely be a Zelda/Sheik situation and they'll be shown seperately.

Chrom is expected to be revealed to celebrate the anniversary of the first Fire Emblem.

Kritters/Kremling mooks: Goalkeepers in both Mario Strikers games, Linesmen in Mario Power Tennis, playable in Super Mario Sluggers, a whole variety of playable Kremlings in Wii's Barrel Blast/Jet Race

K.Rool: Appearances in Donkey Konga Trilogy (notably some crummy minigame where you basically whack a mole him), Main villain of both GBA's King of Swing and DS's Jungle Climber, also playable in Sluggers and Barrel Blast/Jet Race

And of course they all have trophies in Smash.

Man I was having to mention all of this back when Brawl was still in development, K.Rool could be made playable and I bet I'll still have to do this for SSB5 or the next DK game where the theory still persists.
Or maybe we'll move onto General Scales for our croc based confusion, who owns the rights?!
