Edit: I guess those links say otherwise.

Enough with Pikmin already. Just...enough.

Pikmin world would be dope
Smash not that much

BTW seeing the new Dragon Ball fighting announced for everything but switch is sooooo bad for Switch third party support
I mean it is no destiny..it is a Japanese Bandai anime licensed 2.5d fighting game...
And switch will get the old port of the previous episode months later at full price

Situation is terribad

Well, considering it's Bandai Namco on top of that, is pretty telling.

My theory is that the less time an E3 direct lasts, the better it is.
So this one is going to be great : P.

Both Already on their site.
Nice.

Or they can just do as lots of other announcements and add the Switch randomly to the mix later before the release.

I think if we see ANY surprise announcement of a AAA first-party game (and I'm leaning toward us not getting any at this point), it's probably going to be either Metroid or Animal Crossing.

We've known Animal Crossing was in the works for a while, and rumors were it was canned for Wii U due to the bad sales and development probably moved on to Switch.

Nintendo has been openly hinting at Metroid for two years now, and I highly doubt they were doing that for Federation Force. They are almost guaranteed to be working on it.

If we get yet another Pikmin I'll be disappointed. Enough already.

People need to come to grips that #MetroidIsDead

They simply don't care about the franchise anymore. Probably haven't for longer than that

Since I haven't seen anyone talk about these

If you go to the Best Buy site and open the Splatoon 2 cover art in a new tab, and change the last two digits of the url, you can find these.

Oh shit. Pikmin. <3

Hey! Pikmin isn't a standard Pikmin game, so I don't feel it's as saturated as some are implying.

I'm interested to see how they would handle a Smash port.

Crash was dead. Bubsy was dead. Nothing is really "dead" in this industry these days.

Not confirmed but that's what the Nico Nico stream is timed at. They're not usually on the nose but usually within 1-2 minutes from what people said last night.
Wait, has that changed within the last year or so? Nico Nico estimated times have always been fairly inaccurate from my experience, not 1-2 minutes off.

I honestly hope we don't get Smash in any way, shape or form. I'm already skipping ARMS because having Puyo Puyo, Mario Kart and Splatoon will overfill my multiplayer quota for this year. I need me some single player games.

In the event that we do get Smash news, I really hope it's slated for a mid-2018 release because I'd probably get it in that case.

At this point that a Mario oyou show as last time for zelda would have been a better choice

I almost think it'll be half Mario, half everything else. I mean they've said it'll focus on Mario, we've seen with other Directs that focus on a title that that's roughly the split, and we know that when everyone thinks Nintendo are keeping secrets, they are in reality being totally honest and showing their entire hand. Why do people think its different this time?

Nice find. Not sure how long they've had that but there was some euro retailer that had the same listing some months ago, along with "Rabbid Invasion" and "AC Egypt". Whether the name is real, I'd bet on a new Pikmin being on the way.

Pikmin World was leaked earlier this year by a Dutch retailer so its pretty likely that it will show up this year. Smash Switch has been rumored forever too. I can't really tell how old those listings are since they are sandwiched in between previously announced games.

If those listings for Pikmin World and Smash Bros are legit and not some intern making shit up, then when do you expect them to release? I think Pikmin could release this year, perhaps start of October or something, and I think Smash would be a great title to continue the lineup in 2018, so somwehere in the first half of 2018.

Pikmin World could be amazing though, if real, I hope it brings more changes to the series than 3 did. Both Pikmin sequels have been very iterative. I'd like something with more drastic gameplay innovations within the Pikmin formula.

Those seem old, from around the January reveal.

So those images were added all before the boxarts for Arms, 1-2 Switch and before Redout got listed. That happened several months ago. So nothing recent. They were added based on rumours floating around from Eurogamer and LKD. Other retailers did the same.

Yeah, I can see Pikmin for early October, FEW late October and then Mario for the Holidays.

Smash would be great next Feb or March to keep momentum going out of the holidays.

Man, if there is a new Pikmin, apart from feeling vindicated, I'm going to be the happiest Switch owner. Now there's an underrated franchise that represents Nintendo at its best in terms of game design and creativity. 3 was probably a top-5 Wii U game, I have no doubts having another one on the go would be absolute bliss.

Come on Nintendo make it so. I just hope the World thing doesn't mean it's a spinoff or something.

I didn't realize EG or others had started the Pikmin World rumor.

I bet both would be next year. I'll be disappointed if Smash isn't this year, but I'd bet they launch it with their online service. Once I saw that was delayed to next year, my hopes for Smash in 2017 pretty much died :(

I guess I'll have to keep turning on the Wii U for now lol.

Both would be 2018 titles. Pikmin in maybe January or February, Smash in March alongside the paid online.

Apart from maybe smaller downloadable titles and known-but-unnanounced titles like MarioxRabbids I think we know all the Nintendo-related releases for the rest of 2017.

If those leaks are true 2018 is empty...

Nintendo Switch, the console without games.
