Genuine question - how are the other bike racing games available at the moment?

Strong praise either way. I wish there was some way of trying this before splashing the cash.

Everyone is saying how awesome it is, but I'll be waiting for DriveClub SUV's.

Some off-road goodness.

Give me some Land Cruisers, Land Rovers, Broncos...

Bought it live as the conference was happening. Best DLC I've bought in a long while.

I'm now a Evolution Studios enthusiast and will buy anything they make for PS4 without even caring what is t and how much it costs.

And I'm actually serious.

I've never got into bike racing games but from what I understand pickings are extremely slim lately, so that bar wasn't exactly set high haha.

I grabbed it having never played a bike racer before and was surprised how easy it is to pick up and how different it feels from the main game. The sense of speed is somehow even better on bikes

There's RIDE but that game is rather average, runs poorly and has super long loading screens.

I actually think Evolution did a better job with the bike handling than the car handling in the base game. It was really hard to go back after playing a few hours of DC Bikes.

I'm not the biggest lover of motorcycles and I would've preferred a rally expansion instead but DC Bikes is undeniably a lot of fun. I just wish they had thrown in a new track or two.

The game will also get free DLC later this month with new bikes/trophies/tour.

Not much of a bike fan (and I am still not), but its a pretty fun add on. Online has been pretty awesome for me so far.

For existing Driveclub owners the extra content might be a little small (no new tracks), but they have confirmed to be working on new tracks so we hopefully get them for free in the future.

Also handling is very very arcade like, a lot more than the cars.

They totally nailed the sense of speed and how much arcadey it feels.

My only complain is that it might not be challenging enough for recurrent players. I get 1st place quite often and no option to crank up the AI to more aggressive levels.

Evolution deserves all the kudos for the support they've put behind this game. I need to get Bikes ASAP.

I don't know if I'd go that far. In terms of what? Fun? Graphics? Realism?

I love bike games, and personally I'm finding DC's bikes to be so much damn fun. And they look absolutely incredible.

But I do enjoy the physics of the Milestone's MotoGP/SBK/Ride games. And they're great representations of the sport they convey. For a motorsport bike fan, MotoGP 15 is one of the best yet IMO. Man, if they only looked half as good as DC...

But for fun, yeah, DC's mode is amazing. Can't wait for the EBR pack later this month.

I really want to see Evolution give a futuristic racing go a try, either as a DLC expansion to Driveclub or a new game. Not necessarily Wipeout but something different, maybe to replace it. It's a missing genre.

While they've got the sense of speed down, I don't think that would suit Evo - tbh it makes sense to do a rally game or some mental open world Motorstorm game.

Wonder what will happen to things like GRIP

Very tempted to buy this. Bikes is an interesting turn of events - I really thought they'd go city or rally rather than a whole new vehicle so it's a nice surprise (even if rally would have been day 1 personally).

With Persona 4 DAN and importing Nier I've spent £90 on games already this month, and that's before The Old Hunters. Maybe I'll wait until the dry weeks leading up to Christmas.
