October 2016 will give them time enough to make a stellar launch too. Sony has got a big win here. Pack it up Microsoft.

50$ more than I thought.

Didn't think they would go over he price of the console, still not bad.

Probably Day 1 for me.

If I could find it for 40,000 yen I might bite.
Did they give specifics on CAD? Will they go with the exchange rate, or take a loos like they do with consoles?
It would be hard to predict what the exchange rate would be in October I think.

Alright, I guess it's about time I ate some crow then. Not that I can put much effort into it right now, as I'm knocked out by the flu. :p

Edit: Hmm, no camera for that price? I included the camera in my prediction, so I'm not quite as wrong as thought. I didn't include the Move controllers though.

Edit 2: Yeah, I withdraw most of that crow-eating. The PSVR is pretty much useless if you buy the $399 version. To get a version that actually works, you need to pay $499. I predicted $499 (and qualified with that it could be a potential bundle). So I leave the crows to the people who thought I was crazy. Up yours!

Too expensive and I say this knowing full well there was no way it could feasibly be cheaper. I think PSVR will be very niche.

Do we know how the parts used are expected to come down in price in the future?
