It's kinda absurd how far off FFVIIR episode fucking 1 feels like over 2 years after announcement.

You'd think you get used to SE shenanigans but nope.

This... I dunno why but i very much get the feeling thats what the two year long silence is about.
Maybe create a full ff7 chronicles and split it into two 60 dollar ff7 games or something
A multi episode game that will no doubt enter during the new console transition is just a bad idea for something this big.

Also part of me believes if it does come to that sony is sure as shit gonna make it a launch title for ps5.

The words got all jumbled in my mind when I saw the thread title and thought it read "Most Wanted Game Remakes Voted". Which made it even weirder when my eyes immediately saw DQXI on the list.

Lol I feel ya. They keep doing the "announce a game, comes out many years later" shit and we still get overly excited at Square's new game announcements.

Ff7 lol. Talk about self harming behavior. I Love ff7, but man, forgetting about the remake is the best a ff7 fan can do atm.

This is probably shouldn't be read as what Japan wants, but what Famitsu readership wants. Hence an outsized number of votes for sen no kiseki.

Would have thought Super Mario Odyssey, Monster Hunter World or Dragon Quest XI would've been at the top seeming as they're closer to releasing and are as popular (if not moreso) than Final Fantasy over there.

How often do Famitsu do these polls? It doesn't seem long since the last 'most wanted' list went up.
